   Naiintindihan ko ang batang ito. I just wonder how often they went home to the Philippines for a visit during his growing up years. Feeling siguro niya ay masyado siyang nauproot from Pinas. Despite his academic brilliance he longed for his roots in the Philippines. That must be bugging him for quite sometime before he made that life-changing decision. He felt socially insecure kahit mukha naman siyang American. He succumbed to the pressures of the rat race of american lifestyle. But if he intend to help Filipinos and improve Philippines dapat tinapos niya ang pag-aaral para maging stable muna siya then he can do whatever philanthrophic endeavors he would wish to pursue. Sayang ang potential ng batang ito. Sana lang mabigyan siya ng sapat na guidance para maituwid niya ang mga paniniwala niya na pwedeng ikasira ng kanyang future. David, hijo…kung wala ka namang tinatakbuhan sa America at talagang personal goal mo lang ang hanapin ang purpose mo sa buhay. Umuwi ka na sa parents mo, tapusin mo ang iyong studies, then maghanap ka ng work diyan sa Pinas that will also give you the opportunity to do other things that will complete your life. You will have more capacity to help yourself, your own family and others if you yourself is in a stable state, in all aspects. I wish that you will first find peace of mind so that you will see things in their correct perspective.
   Lumaki ako sa baryo na walang kuryente pero naranasan ko na rin na makihalubilo sa matataas na tao sa lipunan ng ako ay makapagtrabaho. I’ve witnessed life on both ends of the spectrum. Isa lang ang masasabi ko sayo David, para maenjoy mo kung anong klaseng buhay ang gusto mo, dapat may baseline kang susundin. Dapat educated ka muna. Dapat magtapos ka muna ng pag-aaral para mas marami kang choices. IF you’ll choose to be a hermit afterwards ay ok lang. If you change your mind after a year or two ay ok din lang. Balik ka ulit sa civilization. Pero isipin mo na may sabit ka na. The more na dapat mas responsible ka na. Knowing what you have accomplished during high school, you owe yourself a lot better.
   Pasensiya ka na David kung medyo binigyan kita ng sermon, nanghihinayang lang ako sa abilities mo. Mag-aral ka ulit kahit diyan sa Philippines. I am in Ireland right now with my family.

   gosh, i was deeply touched. ang cute niya, saka ang sexy. pero mejo yuck taste niya sa girls. (no offense dun sa nabuntis niya) wish i can have someone like him. hindi lang basta gwapo, may laman pa. i mean, yung pagkatao niya is great. anyway, i wish he finds what he is looking. whatever that is.

   You are very damn inocent young man… wake up.. you live in life of  difficulties, challenging and poverty in rural area… that is not your reality life. Go back to your parents! and live the life that you should. You not gonna live for long in poverty till you death! But I love you David… you are so young.. intelegent, cute and very inspired. You will broke your parents heart and for the most.. you broke our hearts that hoping our youngsters to grow and achieve a good living.

   Anyway thanks for sharing your live, very rare to have this kind of story here in Philippines. God Bless you… I’m very damn admire you David….

   i just can’t reconcile the “circumstances” why he chose to live here. well it is really his choice… you can always live a simple life in the states (and living in the US alone is a chalenge)… was just wondering.. were there issues that he left in the states.. is he trying to escape from anything?…

    Awww! I just saw this just now. Thank you Migs for putting the video here in your site…. Anyhow, in my own deduction ko lang ha — there is more to David than meets the eye. I sense a degree of family fued that happen in the States and probably he proclaim a sort of self-exile on his part to seek absolution.

    For all that he is — his achievements garnered in life, i don’t mean to jump to conclusions but I really could say, that if he may have committed mistakes along the way (who hasn’t?!), hence the said self-exile, he truly has the integrity & the dignity to whether stand his ground or seek absolution. It seems to me that he could be a reflection of those wise & spiritual individuals in the past on whom denied all the riches & the fame of this world in order to seek themselves out in the wilderness.

    Sh*t! It is not everyday that we find people with exceptional characteristics such as this…. My admiration goes out for this man’s nobility.

    i guess the best way to appreciate his action is to detach ourselves from our own standards and to look at his move with fresh eyes. if having a wife and a child is what will help him find himself, then all i can do is wish him good luck. he was brave enough to risk his entire life for this purpose. i hope he’s on the right path.
