On December 9, 2006, Filipinos who embrace diversity and equality will once again gather for the annual Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, and Transgender (LGBT) Pride March!
Everyone – girl, boy, bakla, tomboy – is invited. There is certainly no dress code: dress up if you want to, or you may come as you are. You can bring your father, your pet, your friends, your co-workers, or even the parish that you lead.
Join our annual celebration of LGBT pride and solidarity. Our theme for this year, IPASA ANG ANTI-DISCRIMINATION BILL, NOW NA!!! , highlights our collective struggle to change our laws to ensure that all Filipinos, including LGBTs, are protected from discrimination and abuse.
Assembly time will be at 3:00 p.m. at the Remedios Circle, Malate, Manila. The march will wind up at the Rajah Sulayman Park fronting the Baywalk where a program will follow shortly.
Should you have questions, please don’t hesitate to contact the Task Force Pride (TFP), the official organizing network of the annual Pride March.
