Where do you get your haircut?

Beauty and Wellness Entry Feed Trackback

The Manila Gay Guy is one confused and finicky gay man when it comes to haircare. Specifically, haircuts.

At times, a quick visit to a nearby Bench Fix would be my month’s haircut, all at a pretty decent price of Php185. When broke, I go for a Php99 at a neighborhood beauty parlor. Sometimes, when I’m all extravagant, I go to Piandre, or Salon de Manila. There I splurge no less than Php500 for each visit. The most expensive haircut I’ve ever had was worth $15 (Php750) and that was when I was in Santa Clara, California — I even searched far and wide to get the cheapest haircut there — and that was it — Php750!

But I’ve heard of much more expensive haircuts, like in Propaganda. Jusko, more than Php1k a pop! But nothing beats this – I got to get a loan to afford it — Php100,000 per haircut! *faints*

  6. I used to go to Bench Fix when I was back in Manila. Here in Norway, the average haircut costs between 300 and 400 kroner or P2,400 – P3,200. Yikes!

  9. Haha. I’m just like you when it comes to haircuts. Here in Canada, my haircuts cost me 45$. I think that’s around php2,000. I’m way too cautious when it comes to things like that. lol. Now that I’m moving there I’m going to need a stylist I can trust.

  11. I used to go to Headway, but when Bruno’s Barbers opened near my place, I now go there for a haircut and pedicure/manicure (para maganda ang nails ko, especially when I go and use flipflops.) Mas magaling din sila mag-shave ng beard/moustache.

  13. ok din talaga sa bruno’s barbershop. sometimes the barbers there are making pakiramdam sa customers nila. try it, for a change. and it is worth trying coz of its cleanliness.
