Ken Escudero in “Sikil”

Ken Escudero, Ginoong Filipinas 2006, plays Enzo, the lead character in the indie film “Sikil.” The story is about a young closet gay prostitute (Enzo) who’s obsessed with a childhood friend who is a callboy (played by Wil Sandejas) with a girlfriend. It’s a love triangle with a twist. Romualdo E. Avellanosa wrote the script and Ronaldo M. Bertubin directed the movie.
An uncut version of the movie…
…will have its initial showing on March 28, 2007 at the lounge of Club Epitome along Leon Guinto street, Malate. Screening starts at 10 PM.

Oh my! Ken is the ultimate dreamboy – fair and boyishly handsome with those chinito eyes and nice fit body with very sexy body hair. I like guys with body hair. It gives them masculinity and sets them apart from the smoothies. A friend of mine wears a t-shirt when working out simply because he has no armpit hair (maybe 3 strands?) and is ashamed to show the world his hairless armpits. Bravo Ken!

Hands down the best line in the movie as uttered by Ken Escudero (who was inarguably good for a newbie actor)…

Just got the DVD. Great movie. Ken is gorgeous (and so is Wil Sandejas … I happen to love the “native” types). Ken, I think you’re going places sweetheart. Parang anghel ang ngiti mo. Gusto kitang halikan. Another great line from Ken, “mas gusto ko pang kamuhian mo akong ako, keysa mahalin mo akong hindi ako” (or words to that effect). How profound. More power to you Ken! Hope to see more of you on the screen. Mwah!

I’m so ashamed of myself at ngaun ko lang naoanuod tong indie film na to, kainis! after 3 years! gosh…
ang ganda nya promise sobrang nahook ako 3 tyms kong pinanuod di dahil sa bold kundi dahil sa story nya, love it talaga, I love the scripts specially yung “di ko alam kung ano ako, ang alam ko lang may kung anong p***inang ugat dito sa puso ko na tumitibok para sayo” hay grabe na iyak na talaga ako, I love it. makakarelate talaga ang mga katulad ko. the instrumental is so nakakaiyak, talagang natouch yung puso ko hay!
and I will never forget the line na ” kapag sinaktan mo sya papatayin kita” hau grabe tong movie na to na touch talaga ako, ilang beses ko pinanuod to, grabe. Ken is so distractingly cute.
