Gardo Versoza, another vintage hunk

Gardo Versoza, real name Mennen Torres Polintan (born July 8, 1969), is a popular Filipino male actor who has appeared in over forty movies and dozens of television shows. He started out in roles such as Sabik Sa Halik, Machete II, Halimuyak Ng Babae and Kirot. Later, he went on to star in action movies such as Cesar Climaco, Mison, and Ka Hector. He has also appeared in critically acclaimed movies such as the 1998 Marilou Diaz-Abaya version of Rizal where he played the role of hero Andres Bonifacio and Sisa where he played the role of Jose Rizal / Pepe. He has recently even tried his hand in comedy starring in Pinoy Blonde. (from Wikipedia)

i was in grade 5 (mid-1995) when (i believe) he was on the peak of his bold-dom. recently i was able to watch his old bold films and surprisingly, he didn’t really go bold, the most of what he did was to show his butt for a few seconds.

I have a friend’s friend who was a macho dancer before but after marrying a bar girl, they settled down and put up a canteen. Over coke and hopia, he would tell stories about Gardo, that he was the hottest dancer daw in their club at that time… but of course, in showbiz, every celebrity’s past is always sanitized….

Machete. Hehehe. I almost forgot that the original Machete was Cesar Montano. They were only in very suggestive scenes but not the very steamy ones and bare-all. I wonder how the new Machete (Dereck) will live up to the role.
Balik Gardo. He has very Pinoy beauty. Now that I am no longer a kid, too bad I learned that was just face towel. Still a yummy figure though.
