lahat na yata half something/half pinoy are in the country seeking fame and fortune (sports, entertainment, modelling)depriving the natives much needed employment. are they not good enough to make it in their respective birth countries? i have nothing against him personally, but just my thoughts.

dyan….ganun talaga…kapag nasa bansa nila sila…ordinaryong tao lang iyang mga iyan….banat sa trabaho – waiter, karpintero, etc. look at the montero brothers…iyon na ang simula ng invasion ng filipino-americans at kung anu-anong lahi…wala namang pumapansin sa kanila sa bansa nila….but i guess you have to face the fact that one common thing needed in the industries you have mentioned like entertainment (di naman masyado…maliban kung si aiza ang loveteam mo)…pero sa modelling and sports….height is a must

actually i was making a general observation, not specifically about atkins. i’m sure if you look around you’ll know what i mean. the question was actually posed to us by an american exchange student when i was in high school. he said he was puzzled by a lot of caucasian looking people in print and media entertainment who don’t really represent the average pinoy and that in the US asians are barely represented in print and media (his words). i’m not really starting a debate here because this is not the right forum.peace.

i think you are being terribly unfair. i take it you have your own blog where you present what you like, present your own observations and opinions; so why am I not allowed to have an opinion? i wasn’t bashing the guy personally so i don’t understand your point. i was just bringing up one relevant social issue. why is it such a sin to be aware of what is going on around us? i’m working so hard to put myself through university so that i’ll be capable of thinking independently and be aware of the issues around me. please don’t turn me into a robot. in any case, this is not your blog so please don’t silence me. if Migs wants to ban me, it is his right and i will accept it. with respect, i thought the whole idea of blogging is to be exposed to a variety of people with different ideas and opinions.

my god. if there’s one reason for me to go on a diet, (i’m only 130 lbs, 5′7″) it would be atkins… hahah. and i quote colin farrell,” I can have fucking breakfast lunch and dinner on him (her).” i bumped into Simon once at trinoma and at serendra, he has this air, but when we got introduced he was all nice and charming… boy, he’ll sweep you off your feet once he flashes that sly smile of his… we went to piedra and partied with our common friends, i was the outsider then, and he was such a darling that we would end up talking ot each other lang.. i even made him promise to come here in Davao one of these days… summer might be really hot here in davao.. ooops, i forgot, i’m blue blooded. hahaha
