Carlo Wins Be Bench Model Search

Carlo Guevarra, all at 5-foot-9-inches, now stands taller than ever as he was proclaimed the male winner of Be Bench Model Search held last night, September 11, 2007 at the Araneta Coliseum. Who would have thought that this hunk was once such a chubby guy?

he actually got some strech marks, we both auditioned dyan sa be bench, we are just standing on the line that audition day at megamall, he even took off his shirt nd dance some stupid sounding song (which i dont know what) but unfortunately he got in nd even won, but i didnt, but at least i got a call back from some producers sa dos, good luck!

i just knew it…bench couldn’t let ron win this search…he lost in the mossimo contest and there was just no way that the next bench image model would be someone clothing rival mossimo didn’t choose…

but i really like carlo now that migs posted a picture of his before shot…my! can’t believe that photo was taken just about a year ago…i’m really inspired! hahaha…i’m about 170 lbs and 5′11″…there is hope for me yet considering carlo was over 200 lbs and only 5′9″…does anyone know if there’ll be a bebench 2 next year? hahaha…

i knew it from the very start of the competition that he will emerge as the ultimate winner eventually of this search.no doubt about it,he’s my bet eversince, he has all the qualities of being a model,so cutie, he has now the body and the boyish look and the attitude wc qualifies him to join the ranks of richard gutierrez & among others as the next bench model.Congrats carlo, khit nilalait ka ni john during the competition.well saan na sya ngayon?i suggest na iimprove mo lang ang pagsasalita mo by enrolling in speech courses, anyway bata ka pa, u still have a long, long way to do!Goodluck carlo!

here’s comes another example of a typical local model. someone who looks good but obviously short on coconut and humility.. do you remember the episode when kris aquino was asking him about something at pinatamaan sya sa isang question sa kanya na somewhat magpakahumble naman sya… hindi man lang na-gets, is he that dumb. or is he that mayabang na talaga.. halata naman na sya ang mananalo e, sa bobra ba naman build up sa kanya at sa mga episodes na pahapyaw na kunwari sya na ung matatanggal. i liked him at first but know i still think that ron should have won!

i prefer john more…bawal kasi magsalita si Carlo at nawawala ang attention sa kanyang angelic face at lahat ay napupunta sa kanyang poor way of speaking…tsk.

i know that it is for artistic and presentation purposes pero kailangan ba talagang buhusan ng sandamukal na makeup at pagmukhaing bading ang mga lalaki sa mga pangeant or runway shows?
for me mas may appeal if they make it more simple or not too extravagant or too OA dahil mas realistic ang dating nila.

We wanted John to win. Even if he lost, it doesn’t mean the end of his modelling career. With his good looks, and the fact that he could express himself in English quite well, am sure he will go places.

carlo won over ron because ron lacks in being cocky. carlo has a very cocky attitude. carlo is a good choice, new face and young, while ron’s face gives me a light feeling. it’s just that he’s way too silent.. pa mysterious effect. i don’t like john. he already has 2 or 3 TVCs. huhuhu where’s kerbi?
