floux, you cannot be more wrong. vince is correct. Your shorts ARE falling.
“Your short’s falling” is the same as “your short is falling,” which is so very wrong. You never say “short” just like you can not say “pant” for pants. They’re both plural nouns.

the word “shorts” pertains to the wardrobe, maliban nalang kung ang tawag mo sa ganung wardrobe ay short which is wrong..(I got that from my english teacher in speech) sa madaling salita migs is correct.
@vince & kenny – hindi lahat ng word na nag e-end sa “s” ay plural.
and hey read this statement—> “hi, ang ganda naman ng pant mo. San mo nabili?
(who?what?huh? pant? anu yun?)”
same goes with “jeans” kung lalaki ang sasabihan mo ng “ang ganda naman ng jean mo” huh? sinong jean? (lols, peace)

to set the record straight (he he, no pun intended)
shorts is actually PLURAL. so the correct usage is, “your shorts are falling…”
you can make it singular by adding the phrase “a pair of”. in this case, you may say, “your pair of shorts is falling…”
you may also say, “that pair of jeans is all i want for christmas…”
and so you say, “those jeans are so expensive…”
“shorts” together with pajamas, jeans, pajamas, pliers and glasses (which all refer to objects with two parts) are considered plural.
if you wish to refer to such objects singularly, the expression “pair of” is highly suggested.
