lots of people say that it’s really a good movie. i like bea’s classic beauty and at the same time john lloyd’s acting ability. no doubt i’m a fan of maging sino ka man. hehe. but i’ve never been to a bea-john lloyd movie or even watched it in video. i think this will be the frist because of migs prodding.

nothing compares to this movie.. the first time i saw it, i ended up with a realization that u can never give urclf to others if you don’t know yourself. both of them acted well. anyways, i will never get tired watching it again..

@fattyacid: you are right man, i really wonder why do abs-cbn always suffer bad publicities where in fact the station is doing anything for the good of filipino people. They did set up foundations for almost every aspect that our society needs. hmmpfff, there might be some group spending much money to always discredit abs… shhoooo for those nonsense people. By simply doing such things, they indeed are the real losers….

@jang chul soo: and what other big movie outfits do good and sensible movies and films these days? and i didn’t mean all Star Cinema movies are great hence the word ‘many’. imo, sukob is just a so-so movie. anyways tanging yaman, dekada ‘70, kasal kasali kasalo, feng shui, got 2 believe and milan, to name a few, movies that have set benchmarks for local movie industry and elevating the standards of making movies in the country. don’t tell me those movies do not meet your standard? and uh-oh now the ever ’self-righteous’ GMA has so much integrity to the eyes many and all these years, i would always wonder where do these black propaganda against ABS and its talents have been coming from? certainly there is no smoke if no one is even starting any fire.

@ethan: that is basically one reason why bad publicity and black propaganda against ABS-CBN BC and its subsidiaries are quite successful in tainting the company’s reputation in the recent years. being part of the Lopez Group of Companies is like being in a series of dominoes, though each operates on its own, that in just one wrong move, everything else will fall and clearly ABS is at a disadvantage here. i couldn’t help but wonder, time and time again, why issues of other Lopez companies like Meralco, Maynilad, MNTC (NL Expressway) and even SkyCable are always being linked and used against ABS. i could sense that there is a group of people conniving to exploit that disadvantage at the expense of tainting ABS-CBN’s reputation in order to put themselves ahead of the competition/s.

Oh no. Not another battle of words on what is the better TV network. Basta for us advertisers eh mabuti na lang at mainit at malapit ang labanan ng networks unlike the days, late nineties and early 2000s, when ABS ruled and no one even came close. Our wish right now is to have a third network to join the fight. Eh mukhang wala eh.

@fattyacid: It is the difference in the corporate structure that may explain the difference in corporate culture. GMA is family-owned and a single enterprise. ABS is publicly listed and just one part of a conglomerate, though a very important part.
