Hilom, classy spa for men

hilom6.jpg

Last week, Chinoy (my Amboy, “sosi” friend) and I checked out this new massage place in Quezon City called Hilom. We both had a great massage experience, but what really pushed me to share this “good news” with you dear MGG readers was this comment from him after the session: “This is my first time to come to a place like this… you know, where all the masahistas are masseurs… all I heard about before was these massage places were dingy… cheap, dirty, etcetera. But Hilom is different. It’s so clean and classy!” And I so agree.

That’s why I lost no time in requesting pics from the owner and I’m sharing them with you… Check Hilom out! (And yes I have pics of their masseurs! Hehehe!)

Hello Migs, hello guys. I have been following this blog for a long time and I do not normally give comments kung wala naman talaga akong sasabihin but I find this blog informative and very helpful in giving informations. Even we cannot assure that PLUs (People Like Us) give an honest comment or yung iba nagtitrip lang talaga.

I have one story to share. I do not normally go to MP’s na known to have been offering ES because I go to legit ones to pamper myself and relax. A friend of mone invited me to go to a certain MP – Human Touch along Quezon Avenue. Since my friend has not been there before, we tried. As we are approaching the place, after a short chat in a nearby McDonalds, I chanced upon their luminating phone number posted beside their place. I called first thru my mobile to inquire in advance to get a hint of what we can expect. A certain Richie at the reception, who obviously sounds very effem, answered and gave me information and gave me a sales talk. Then we took a stair and entered.

They have choices with this and that that we can choose from. I took one with one hour massage and a turkish bath fro P450. The we were guided thru their see through aquarium, since Sunday and there were few masseurs only available, there were five guys in the row, not all of them are cutees but who struck me was Albert, a bit chubby at mukhang delicious. My friend took the other guy. One of the guys was familiar, this guy was a crush of mine from Hilom, pero nawala na siya dun, you would have the hint of knowing his name after mag-solidify ang water at inilagay mo sa freezer then ano ang result? That’s his name.

I still went on choosing Albert. He escorted me sa cubicle then we chatted a bit to know each other. He gave me first a Turkish Bath kuno, (I did not tell him that I’ve been to Istanbul, Turkey many times at alam ko ang tunay na Turkish bath baka kasi mapahiya) Eto na ang massage. He started immediately heavy in the soles of my feet which is already the wrong procedure dahil massage school grad ako, he’s got a heavy hands, then after few minutes akyat agad sa butt ko. Before masaging my back, he asked’ Sir, pa ES po rin ba kayo”? I said to him honestly, that was not my first intention, but he insisted. I told him in case I agreed, this and that is what I want I want if you want to satisfy me. I bargained if he would give me good ES, he would be getting from P1,000 to 1,500. I told him I enjoyed much if I’m the one being Bj’d. He said, sige po Sir, kahit hindi ko talaga ginagawa yun. The one hour massage was immediately cut him and then proceeded to his real business.

Well guys eto ang ratings ko in a ratio of 1:10. Massage itself I gave him generoulsy a 3. Dick size, in fairness he’s great a whooping 9.5, body cleanliness – 9, pero amoy yosi ang breath niya while kissing me sa lips which he gave it to me hesitantly, which I hate because I do not smoke. Then walang passion ang ginagawa niya sa akin dahil ramdam mo naman. And I wanna end it na talaga so I rushed to cum na. I told him after, “Dude, pede magpaliit ka ng tiyan.” dahil mas sexy pa talaga ako sa kanya.

As I was taking money to pay him while in the room, he could have chanced bacause I was carrying a lot of TVJ’s (Tito, Vic and Joey – 0ne thousand peso bills) and pieces of US dollars in my wallet. Nahirit pa ng dagdag sa P1,500. Kung nagkwento pa marahil ako na isa akong ships’ officer sa isang international cruise ship marahil kinulit niya ako ng dagdag.

Well guys, before you engage in case sa ES tell them your own rate and ceiling, what you really want to happen and your limitations dahil baka hindi kayo masatisfy. Albert, if happens you read this you would know kung anong performance meron ka. Well, okay lang sa akin ang experience because I learn from it. Kung naging professional ka tlaga sana, I could even give you more and more at ibibili rin kita ng barko dahil generous person ako.

That’s for now guys, just being sad because I will be soon leaving to go back to my ship’s life because I would still prefer Pinoy who for me are the best ones.

The question if I am coming back there or not well obviously NO. See you again guys and best regards. (solteroaqui@yahoo.com)

I went to Hilom week 1 of January with 2 of my friends.
Our intention of course was to have a massage and what else they can offer.

    1. The massage is a so..so.. I am not expecting an amazing therapy because places like this are into ‘extra service’.. Incomparable with therapist of Wensha, City Lifestyle and other ‘wholesome spa’.
But then.. what the heck.. just to satisfy our curiousity about the place.

    2. Surprised when the masseur asked me – sir gusto po ninyo ng extra service? So magkano naman..i asked… sir, 1thousand po. jakol ko po kayo at bj nyo ako..
pag may kiss plus 500, at pag nag 69 kayo, plus 500.. so 2 thousand in case full extra service…

Thats it.. We told ourselves – that will be our first and last visit.

I went to Hilom recently. One of the “best-sellers” there, Lance, is presently in Singapore for a few weeks, to work as part of an exchange program with a spa there. In the meantime, his brother Alex is also working at Hilom, on a part time basis. He is also quite a looker like his younger brother, maybe even better. Check out the hilom website at the david fabros photo essay link at http://www.hilom.com/david.php. Alex gives an OK massage and does much better for ES. He is also very friendly and accommodating. Go get him. He is great!!

teka bakit nababanggit ang Pinnacle dito? has anyone had an ES here? can you recommend a masseur who offers this?

its along Scout Torillo near the corner of Scout Limbaga, in QC. If you know Jade Valley, Pinnacle is at the other side of the street.

    From the Hilom website:

“MASSAGE and SET DINNER, 1000 PHP Package…

Have a relaxing and enjoyable holiday evening with a massage…

Followed by a set dinner at Moomba Garden Grill…

    WITH YOUR THERAPIST THIS HOLIDAY.”

Wow naman, Hilom really thinks of everything to put its clients’ needs first. Before the client even thinks he needs it.

Think of it, right? If I were a client at Hilom, after haggling with the therapist for the right post-massage-pre-ES tip, provided that we actually agree on a figure and the deed is done, the last thing I would even imagine myself doing would be having an intimate dinner with him immediately afterwards!

    Huwow.

And you wonder why PLUs are hated by the religious right.

Hilom is neither here nor there. If you want a legit massage by an officially trained masseur/masseuse, there’s no reason not to go to Wensha, City Life, New York Spa or Sanctuario QC whic are nearby.

If you’re after something else, lots of stories about masseurs at Hilom with an attitude so there’s no guarantee you’ll get the ES you’re after, masama pa ang loob mo pag alis mo doon. Besides, for honest to goodness ES there’s Hollywood, Spartacus, Body Spec, Human Touch, Equanimity, Mr. Earth…all within the same area. No pain, no disappointment.

If you wast class, facilities, massage, Hilom is outclassed by Sanctuario QC, Pinnacle, even the renovated Wensha in terms of decor, reception areas, cubicles, wet areas, hot cold, wet steam, dry steam etc.

If you want relaxation and quiet, the blaring music beside Hilom guarantees the opposite.

  19. #245  john

siguro, it’s time for us not to patronize Hilom. The managers, specially Gardo, and the masseurs think that sila lang ata ang male massage parlor sa metro manila. Ang yayabang nila eh mga bayaran lang naman sila.

    09/01/02 05:31
  20. #244  caloy

I fully agree with Giovanni. Go to a legitimate spa, not Hilom which is not under the category of a legit spa. There have been so many bad experiences with the masseurs of Hilom so that if you expect to be relaxed, you’ll end up being stressed. Read the amny comments above and the other thread male to Male massage. A lot of stories about nagmamadaling masseurs (those who want to go straight to ES), untrained masseurs, masseurs demanding a hefty tip. Some legit masssage parlors like City Life, Wensha, and Sanctuario have male masseurs anyway. So if you’re after a legitimate massage you can go to these spas and get stimulated too. If your after an honest to goodness spa go to Suriya Sanctuario and City Life and the other massage places dotting the Metro.

ANANIMUS: I was struck by your comment where you stated that  ”One basic problem with Hilom is that it has not really defined what it wants to be, a legitimate spa just like Citylifestyle or a gay-oriented massage parlor.” I think you hit the nail right on the head. That sign (since then removed) that Hilom posted to the effect that hanky panky was not allowed appears to indicate that Hilom sought to differentiate itself from other M@M spas by being different. But Hilom’s schizoid beginnings is also underscored by the following:

    1. its first batch of masseurs were actually ES PROs – some of them the best operators among the male-prostitution-dens-masquersding-as-spas-proliferating in QC. Even Gardo, at Friendship gave very good ES for the right price, and of course, at Big M, he went all the way.
    2. Hilom is a hybrid between a legit spa (Sanctuario, City Life, Daniela, Suriya, the Spa at Libis…etc). The facilities of these legit spas have a lot of showers, a wet floor, hot and cold pools, dry sauna, wet sauna, and a Jaccuzi) Hilom does not have any of these facilities, so you’re right, it’s not a first class spa – its just that the standards of the others are so scraping-the-bottom low that when you appear to be a notch above them (this bottom), you might stand out. Hilom has successfully exploited this small advantage in its marketing. As a positive for Hilom, this strategy can succeed if you plough your profits into transforming Hilom into a genuinely classy spa. Its like squatters – the unpolished hollow-block house in the middle of corrugated rusting shanties is definitely a notch above the others.

As I said, this strategy can succeed if Hilom plough’s its profits back into transforming Hilom from a state of classy-shanty to real classy. And your right, the Hilom management should visit and use the Bangkok spas as a benchmark. Begin with Albury, maybe you can try to rent a bungalow in the Scout area. Or you can try looking at Blue Lotus and Babylon, Bangkok.

There’s nothing wrong so far with your current state of affairs, i.e., a pretend-classy-spa. Over ten years ago, St. Luke’s Hospital was a decrepit hospital – the nearby UERMMMC and Capitol Med Center were actualy looking down upon St. Luke’s.Analyzing the hospital’s sorry state, the  Presbyterians, who owned St. Lukes decided to revolutionize their attitudes runing the hospital. They spoke to  the late Atty William Quasha who advised them to throw everything inside out – and they did, throwing out the old board and the old administration. Since St. Luke’s did not have the money, they began by refurbishing the lobby first and began marketing the lobby’s look as the look of the entire hospital (everything else inside and upstairs was old and decaying). They started getting  a few more customers, then a few more as a result of the lobby-change. With the gradual influx of new customers, they began renovating the rooms, computerizing, etc, etc. Look where St Luke’s is today.

    Hilom,

Yes, the faux classy impression created by your lobby (inside your massage areas are small and you have a very small shower room- not many of us are convinced- even with the lobby) can actually help transform you into the first class spa you envision. But basics first. You’ll have to transfer to a bigger location. You’ll have to invest in shower rooms (Albury’s shower area has six) and other facilities (Blue Lotus has jaccuzis) – in other-words you’ll have to be first class not only outside but inside.

But thats not all, you’ll have to throw away your current batch of world-worn masseurs and change from within, actively recruiting new ones and really training them in legit massage. To do this you’ll have to have a good trainor who knows turkish, swedish, siatsu, thai, etc massage.

Finally, your masseurs should be great masseurs first. Giving great ES following a good massage would then be a pleasant bonus to your clients.

    Sir Caloy,
Kudos to you for a very well analysis of the situation at Hilom.  I agree with you 100%.  I also feel sorry for the owners of Hilom because they seem not to know what to do.  Owning and running a business are two different things.  You cannot adopt an attitude of just delegating your operations to your managers, who in the first place may not even be qualified to be managers.
One basic problem with Hilom is that it has not really defined what it wants to be, a legitimate spa just like Citylifestyle or a gay-oriented massage parlor.  I think the owners must first define its niche and clientele.  It cannot be both.  One has to choose just like any normal business.
Secondly, if it has chosen to be a gay-oriented massage parlor, it has to train its personnel towards this niche.  It has to define and develop products, it has to have its salesmen, ie the masseurs, understand what the client wants and sell the products.  Just saying you will terminate, discipline them is not enough.  They may not even know what is expected of them in the first place.  Be point blank and direct in telling your masseurs, “Look this is a gay-oriented massage parlor.  Our clients expect you to give them satisfaction by performing the following:  1.  romansa  2.  HJ  3.  BJ , etc.  In return, you can expect to receive a minimum of XXX pesos as defined by THE MARKET AND THE COMPETITION.”
Hilom must not delude itself into thinking that it is the best gay-oriented massage parlor in the Philippines.  Let us not even compare it with Bangkok establishments.  While it is true it looks nicer that the others, it is not as if they are way above competition.  It is still the same mat on the floor, plywood separated cubicles, minimal lighting, small showers place that define most of the competition.  I will grant that it is a little better but not that great naman.  So don’t price yourself out of the market, you have not yet earned the right to charge a premium.
Lastly, in order to be different, you must have new faces and talents.  If these are rehash from other places, then what makes you different from your competition.  Just like any business, the owners must invest not only money but effort and creativity in improving its operations, manpower, etc.
Run Hilom just like you would any other business.  If you do not want to be involved too much and would rather delegate, make sure you have the right people for it.  If not, sayang ang lahat ng efforts mo.
I would still give the owners of Hilom the benefit of the doubt that they are sincere in improving their operations.  Maybe it’s just that they are too naive or ignorant in the necessities of running a business and Hilom is a business and nothing else.  I am doing this because I sincerely hope that Hilom’s sincerity can someday translate into a successful place where I can really enjoy and be satisfied (and need not go to Bangkok anymore.)
BTW, have the owners of Hilom visited the massage parlors in Bangkok.  Maybe you should benchmark yourself against them.

could it be that the hilom masseurs actually believe that their “spa” is several notches above all the other all-male MPs–enough reason for them to “demand” higher ES fees? give us a break! MPs come and go. hilom should be thankful they’re still alive…and that there are still customers willing to overlook their indiscretions.
and as i’ve always maintained, patrons should NOT give in to these masseurs and their silly, stupid demands for exorbitant ES fees! those who are cowed/intimidated into doing so are only emboldening the masseurs to continue demanding, for instance, P2-2.5k for a mere handjob. if your masseur refuses to accept your offer, stand up, get dressed and tell him to take it or leave it. or is it in the pinoy culture for the customer to just meekly and dutifully accept whatever service is rendered him and to pay exorbitant costs regardless of the quality of the service rendered?

    HILOM,

If you don’t have the heart to do it – get an enforcer someone na kinatatakutan ng mga masseurs. Remember, these are guys from the (for the want of an appropriate term) underclass, the seamy side of life. They have streetsmarts, and the only rule they would understand is force. Kulot, the owner of Datu told me once na binubugbog niya yung mga matitigas ang ulo. Its like Metro Manila traffic and lack of discipline. Metro Manilans understand the consistency and force of rules of Subic – and they behave accordingly.

I don’t think Gardo and Derek are effective, si Gardo at least 8 years na yan sa trade, galing pa sa Friendship where the attitude of masseurs was even worse. He was very briefly also the receptionist of Big M when Big M was new but for reasons unknown, he was replaced. Gardo would revert to type when conditions allow it – I saw this in Friendship when he was still there – pera-pera lang.  Its the rule of the seamy side.  Gardo is too small para katakutan. He’s about 5′5 or at most 5′6 so he would not be effective.

There is nothing wrong with, as you said appealing “to the better side of human nature” but you can do this without being lenient and within the context of consistently and firmly applied rules. Maskina sa corporate life, maaring kaibigan kita but if you cannot meet expectations, worse, if you break the rules, you’re fired. The bad side of human nature is not the exclusive domain of the lower classes, at the uppermost bracket, marami rin yan, kaya may kurakot, kaya may mga Liam Neeson (the guy who singelhandedly brought down a multi billion dollar multinational corporation based in London – he was doing this from the Singapore branch). But the methods you apply at this level are different from the methods you apply with the masseurs. Walang riot sa Manila City Jail these days dahil gumawa lang ng gulo o nagkamali lang yung preso, mga kapwa preso na ang nagdidisciplina- and the discipline is harsh- but that’s the only way they can enforce the rules. Thats the language certain people understand. You don’t apply staid country club finess regulations to people who only understand and respect force.

So, if you don’t have the heart to do it get an enforcer.

I have to thank you sir Caloy for constantly pushing and being brutally frank with us for the past months. Yes, it took me long enough. Yes, I have been thinking about this topic a lot as well. I have actually hoped that suspensions, terminations and constant sermons from me, the owner would drive the change I want. I was naive, I admit, to hope to appeal to the better side of human nature. Medyo may soft spot kasi ako I guess for cute guys (the masseurs) hehehe. Reality bites and after several months of being dissapointed and giving them (the masseurs) the benefit of the doubt, I have implemented a policy just before today’s closing and would start tommorrow (later). No more mister nice gay guy. Managers, Derek and Gardo, are now empowered to help customers with their tipping problem and are now going to be more involved in the process as what sir Caloy suggested. Massuers will not be allowed to haggle. Masseurs who are not happy with this policy are free to leave. Anyone reported not following this policy will be terminated. There are other policies that we are changing  as we end our first year of operation and start our second year but this one is the most drastic. Again thank you for the push, I needed that (the Ram story really pushed the point home too, I really didn’t realize it was that bad, or maybe I felt that it was just people mudslinging before). I wanted Hilom to be a haven for both clients and masseurs, I guess we can’t have both. Clients of course always comes first. Thank you for your business and your willingness to really share what you feel. It was a good first year with a lot of lessons and I am excited (and to be honest, fearful since we are moving towards a new direction) for the second year.

Yun ang palagi kong sinasabi, pati doon sa other blog posts ni Mig, maraming reklamo against the HILOM MASSEURS.

Again as I expected, may response ang Hilom. Ganyan naman ng ganyan, EH – INSINCERE PA EK EK LANG. How come, reccurent ang complaints. Hilom says “serioso kami” but you have you give the specifics HILOM, how specific can you get? Napaka specific na yung narration ni Modena?

How come, the other Spas can impose discipline on their masseurs FROM DAY ONE? Theres really no concerted effort on your part to discipline your guys. Mga hustler na yan, maramin nang napaggalingan na spas. By human nature, if they can get what they want they’ll try to get it. NASA KULTURA NA NADEVELOP NINYO KASI YAN AT kinunsinti. You’re saying – give us the names of the masseurs – it cultural, its ingrained, its not about individual masseurs.

To give yo an example, suking suki ko sa ibang spa si RAM  at napakabait niya dati. When Hilom was fairly new, he texted me to go there and try the place- but I got to go only 2 months after his text. To my utter diappointment, Hilom transformed him into a greedy person. He said to me’ sir, hindi na puede yung inaabot mos sa akin dati, dito 2k upwards ang standard tip. His transformation was shocking, and I could blame it only on the culture that Hilom nurtured or allowed – na di na yata niyo matanggal.

Part of that culture was fostered by your old hypocritical sign na bawal ang ES. Of course, wala na yan, nataanggal na – pero TOO LATE – kumapit na yung epekto ng hipocrisy na policy ninyo. Hipocrisy dahil alam naman ninyo na kahit paano gagawa at gagawa ng kalokohan ang mga masseurs niyo, dahil you got your first batch of masseurs from other spas, who in turn got these people from M2M spas all over Metro Manila –  in other words, napabeterano na ng mga yan, yung ,mga customer nila na pumupunta sa ibang spa, tulad ko, expected ES. When you wanted one, they’d say, sir bawal kasi yan di tulad ng Big M dati, then the masseur suggests ok parin siya kung dadagdagan yung dating binibigay – to make it worth risking the suspension or removal from your spa. If you were sincere about this policy from the very begining, why did not recruit your first batch fresh, walang mga sungay? Not those who, because mine-merry go round na nila ang ibat ibang spa, ay napakabeterano na sa ways ng manipulation.

Any psychologist will tell you that people behave according to their environment.  Drivers in Metro Manila used to their reckless ways here BEHAVE IN SUBIC- they know rules are strictly imposed, so, maskina napaka reckless nila dito, mabait sila doon, observing traffic rules. To bring an example home, after his Hilom stint, Ram went back briefly to the spa beside Holywood (forgot its name). Do you know that there, bumalik siya sa behavior niya dati? Tumanggap ng tip na dating binibigay before Hilom? (He is no longer there).

Asking those who comment here to be more specific like naming the masseur is evidence of your insincerity and lack of will to rectify the ingrained problems in Hilom, which go into the culture you nurtured and fostered and which cannot be addressed by suspending or sacking individual masseurs.

To the readers of this blog topic, go and check Mig’s male to Male blog topic – there are a lot of complaints about Hilom. Each time, Hilom responds na parang napakabait and yet, wala naman talagang nangyayari dahil observe na pabalik balik ang mga complaints – from various individuals, many who have been there the first time.

Even in Bangkok where the Spas are 10 to 20 times the quality of Hilom (hindi naman ninyo sasabihing talo ninyo ang babylon, Hero, Albury, Blue Lotus atbp.), the tip to masseurs is less than HILOM when you convert the bhat equivalent to pesos…. Mas marami pang choice ng masseurs doon (average per spa=20 masseurs).

kaya Hilom, don’t comment or respond na lang if you are not going to undertake a sea change in attitudes of your masseurs, if you cannot really impose discipline across the board (not only individual masseurs) and if you’re reluctant to impose a policy that the masseur should just wait for the tip and not “suggest” a price. JUST DO IT.

Mahal nga sa Hilom… Sa boys of bora 1.5k lng full ES n un.. Hilom mgset naman kau ng minimum and let d masseurs know about it such that d sila mgcomplain. Watever xtra over the minimum is already the discretion of the customers…

I’ve heard alot about Hilom, kaya sobrang na-curious ako until I decided to checked it out. I reserved for Lance, and physically he is hotter in person. Sobrang tigas at ang ganda ng katawan.
I selected the P800 service, though naging P700 since they have early bird promo ek ek, and one of tghe main reason why I chose this service even though the VIP room is occupied that time is bec i wanna try how does turkish bath feels like.
And since ginagamit nga un VIP room, doon nalang daw sa shower under the stairs ang ggamitin. So Lance accomodate me upstrais, sa massage rooms, and asked me to changed into robe. Robe na walang lace.  At first I was arguing whether I will remove my underwear or not, pero I decided to wear it nalang. So he accomodated me downstairs, sa may shower.
Unfortunately, I was so dissapointented dahil ang sikip sikip ng shower area. The cubicle and the shower are simply acros one another at hindi ka makagalaw masyado. And Lance was even in his uniform then.  So Lance told me to remove my underwear. He scrubs my back, legs, tighs, and a little soapy near my balls. He then asked me to turn around, while my two hands are covering my family jewel. I notice him peeking on what is hidden behind my hands, and asked for my left arm to scrub. So I used my right hand to cover while he was soaping my left arm and vice versa. Unfortunately, he did not even bother to soap me peoperly, at hindi pa ako sinabon sa chest, shoulders and upper body.  And ofcourse pati jewel ko hindi nasabon. So after the shwoer, he toweled me off and nag-robe na and go up.
So I was bare when he was performing his massage on me. He removed his pants, at naka-skimpy short denim shorts sya, then he removed his top, revealing his hard, smooth and hairless physique. His massage is not too WOW, so nasa middle lang. At ang soft spoken nya sobra. Basta he has a super hot body of a model, and tinatamaan nya rin sensitive areas ko while he is massaging my bared back, which is a hot thing. Then what disappointed me more, when he asked me to face around na, hindi man lang minassage upper body ko, tapos parang minadali rin. And I can notice him peeping on my jewel habang nakatakip ako ng towel, which i dont really mind. And he is fully aware of my hard buldge at tinatamaan nya rin which is hot.
Yun nga lang na disapppoint ako, since i payed for P700 tapos ang cheap ng shower area, hindi ako fully satisfied, kailangn ko pa sya sabhin over and over to make the pressure harder. Good thing hot talaga body nya and I was able to touch his chest area a bit when he was massaging my hands. Over all, I dont know if babalik pa ako jan, or hindi na. ANd what turns me off un inaantay nya un tip when he handed the envelope to me.
With ES, 3k daw! sabi nya ako na bahala for the price and sensation daw ang gagawin which sya na raw bahala kung paano. HEllo 3k!?
Still Im looking forward of availing an ES and taste his hot model bod.

where is Infinity located? how much do they charge for massage?

  39. #225  Hilom

Sirs, I understand the frustration and I myself am frustrated by all this. I know it is tedious, but I hope you can email me some details at info@hilom.com. Seryoso kami but I can’t do anything if I don’t get specifics (who the masseur was, what time and day and what exactly happened that made it a less than ideal experience)? The reason I need this information is so we can take proper action with the masseur involved, since it would be unfair to involve all the masseurs, even those who have not done anything wrong. There have also been several times when the claims were false (time, day and masseur did not match with our records). That is why I have been diligently answering comments on blogs (like this) to try to build a rapport with the clients so that they will feel comfortable talking/ emailing us. Hilom is my baby and believe me, it really pains me to see comments such as these posted but not be able to properly address it and fix it. I know this may appear as lip service but it isn’t. I’m new at this business and I admit, we maybe slow at implementing changes because we prefer to err on the side of caution, but it would also be unfair to say that we do not do anything. I am thankful though, since these comments have a way of pushing me, especially since we are about to become one year old.

Hi Marebro!  - try Infinity, Hunk’s Touch and Mr. Body Physique – I was over these places this weekend. My experience using corporate language:  EXEEDED EXPECTATIONS!

As you know, I’ve been going the past month to Spartacus, Holywood and Human touch –  nothing bad so far about these places but I wanted a change of scene and was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the masseurs and the service in Hunks Touch and Mr. Body Physique (MBP) which I’d virtually given up more than a year ago. The owner of MBP also suggested Infinity and it was a home run!

    TO HILOM

Una, kung serious kayo, advise your masseurs not to ask for ES – at wang makipagtawaran – i report dapat ito sa inyo and dapat, tanggalin niyo ang mga masseur na ito.

Second – I understand na may mga gays rin na kupal at sobrang kuripot – sa akin, any tip below 1K, kung maganda ang ES IS UNFAIR TO THE MASSEUR. Etong policy sa HERO at ALBURY SA BANGKOK – kung masyadong mababa ang tip, binubulong to ng masseur sa management (di sila mismo ang nakikipagtawaran) kakausapin ng management (very discretely) yung customer (may coffee shop kasi sila where one can unwind after the massage) and they explain the minimum tip (1000-1500Bhat). Magandang policy ito kesa magaway pa yung customer at masseur sa loob ng cubicle.

Problema with HILOM, I’ve seen a lot of comments in Mig’s other blog Male to male massage,HILOM responds AND YET  you still encounter a lot of bad comments about this place from other clients!!!

    08/11/10 10:18
  42. #222  caloy

I think a fairer pricing is 1k-1.5k for a full ES. Thats the average of Spartacus, Holywood, Human Touch and Equanimity. Granted maganda ang Hilom compared to the others, hindi pa rin to ka level ng interior decor ng Sanctuario QC, Wensha Roxas Blvd. City Life, the Spa or Suriya.

The biggest turn of is kung parang restaurant yung masseur 1k sa ganito 2 k sa ganoon. Di naman quality ang mga masseurs, marami diyan napaglumaan na. Gardo fo example, galing na yan sa D’ Friendship (now closed, he started there 6 years ago, when he was 20) before he transferred to Big M at Roosevelt Ave and Tuason. Yung iba diyan, beterano na ng Magic Touch, Feels Good and other old establishments where they were happy to receive 700 (I’m not saying this should be the tip now).

Hilom is not capable of disciplining its masseurs. Yung mga mabait dati sa ibang  spa, nagkakasungay sa Hilom – nasa kultura siguro ng Hilom – ok naman sila noon.

I’ve been to places I’ve not frequented for a number of years and I was pleasantly surprised at the changes (bec of change in management). At Mr. Body Physique, I found a lot of fresh looking guys who look like they did not go the rounds of other Spas. If one likes Hunky big bodied types, I got them at Hunk’s Touch, try Rommel or Ric, full ES – di humingi ng extra; I also recently had a great experience at Human Touch (try Will, JP); Spartacus (Ryan, Tom) and just last Saturday, a guy named Jay (from Butuan) at Infinity. On the other hand 80% of the guys at Hilom, nag merry go round na sa iba’t ibang M2M establishments.

I’m writing this because my worst experience this past month (2 times) was at Hilom. The massage was unsatifactory, the ES just token and worst of all HIGHWAY ROBBERY yung gustong tip ng masseur.

Reasonable akong mag tip. Di bumababa ng 1,200 (allowance for the lotion), umaabot ng 2,500 king super galing talaga yung masseur, guapo at maasikaso (eg. Andrew of Spartacus -tumawad ng 2,500 pero promise niya garantisado – totoo naman; normally ma tuturnoff ako sa tawaran.

Hilom keeps on answering negative responses in blogsites like this. Yet, promise ng promise, wala namang pagbabago!

since the above discussions center mostly on the tip to give for ES, can we all agree na lang na pagmagES dapat ganun ang tip natin? If we all unite and stick to this pricing eh di nobody will feel cheated. At the end of it, it just feels the same.  LET US UNITE AND START TOMORROW.

We are very happy for him and congratulate him because currently he is concentrating on his studies at last year na niya as a management student.

Meron ba kayong bagong therapists na wala sa photo gallery?

    08/10/11 08:23
  60. #204  Hilom

Yes sir, the galleries are updated and all the therapists there are still with us (except for some of them that are included in our summer outing gallery).
As soon as we confirm that a staff member has left us or has been dismissed we immediately remove their gallery to avoid any confusion with our guests.
Adding galleries of new staff members is harder though as we have to arrange a photo shoot for them first. So there some staff members who do not have a gallery for this very reason or sometimes they simply prefer not to have their photos taken.

I have been to Hilom once and i found the place too small. I was at the VIP room enjoying the massage but the loud band music from the adjacent restobar reverberated to all rooms. Nawala ang serenity ng place. Wa effect yong relaxing music nila. Feeling mo nasa loob ka ng restobar. Staffs are very courteous though. I cant tell you his name. Basta Pareho kaming goodlooking nyehehehe.

  66. #198  johnpaul

well, basta ako at home ako sa hilom kasi very accomodating ang mga managers, lalo na si Gardo. He’s professional in treating the Spa’s clients. Kudos both to GARDO and DEREK for their efforts to give us the best way to make us at home sa Hilom

    08/09/22 05:26
  67. #197  felixx

Baka hindi talaga pwede at na-misintepret ang “rejection” as “being suplado”? Who knows? any clarification would help, though…

    08/09/21 21:14
  68. #196  charlies_encheyl

Kahit saang MP yan.

Ha? What a sad experience pero mostly ng comment dito at with my experience accomodating naman si Gardo ah! D lang talaga siya madalas mag scrub at nagmamasahe. medyo choosy! D ko pa natry si ice

it was a bad second time experience..Ive requested for GARDO, suplado siya..he stressed out that he rerved someone named ICE for me (my 3rd choice), in which diko na enjoy ang scrub at masahe pati extra service humihingi pa ng dagdag, nothing special namn ang ginawa..at yung VIP room ang ingay sa labas dinig na dinig mo pa na may nagpriprito..gusto ko ma realx pero ang ingay at madaldal yung ICE..basta i was turned off by GARDO’s kaangasan and guess what they have a promo like postcard somehing na kapag nakawalo visit ka may free na isa..on my 2 visits, di pa nila ko binibigyan!!

    I’ve been to HIlom twice.
During my first visit… i asked for a regular massage.  i really liked the massage, it was very relaxing.
The masseur was only wearing  his undies. After the massage the masseur asked me if I want an extra.. But i told him that I’m on a tight budget.
During my second visit… I discreetly asked the masseur for a sensual massage. But I received a regular massage and the masseur was on a hurry. He didn’t even remove any of his clothing. I found the service very boring.  After the massage, he asked me if I want extra which I didn’t took. After a lousy sensual massage who would try his extra-service.
I concluded that the quality of masseur and service in HILOM is not as good as before.
To HILOM: I hope you can improve your services.
    Thanks MIGS!

Why Manila M2M saunas are decrepit

To be fair, there’s a great deal of tolerance for the sex trade in Bangkok. No police raids. But I suppose, the health authorities there are strict, which is why these places are well kept and very clean.

Its probably not advisable to invest in a place like those you find in Bangkok because there is no tolerance for these places here, and your investment goes to thin air once you get harassed by the authorities. Bangkok’s open policy brings the business into the open and the competition becomes about how good and relaxing the place is, the quality of the masseurs (including quality of health) etc.

Here if you put up a good place, within a month, you place would have ben raided or exposed by the media. Its no use investing a lot.

    08/07/26 07:36
  83. #181  caloy

Really no classy massage parlors in the Philippines, and I knew at once that Hilom wasn’t going to be the exception. To call it classy as some have here -you’re actually telling everyone you haven’t been to the M2M massage/spa/saunas abroad. Hilom isn’t classy and its a world away from the best that you could find in Bangkok, London, etc.

    1. NO PROSTITUTION

That sign about “no prostitution” near the entrance to the cubicles of Hilom is a BIG LIE! When they first opened, I knew, at once that they were not serious about this. The guy who told me about Himom when it first opened was my suki at Big Men before he transferred to BodySpec and before he went to hilom. He was one of the Stars in BigMen and Body Spec and he gave the best ” extra ” one could have. The other guys in the picture are also veterans in the trade one of them from the old D’Friendship before he transferred to Blue Pals and before he ended up in Big Men. So are the others. With these big stars, there’s certainly extra service at Hilom (true enough, my regulars from the other Spas delivered).

    2. CLASSY? NOT

As I said you haven’t been to the great massage places that the world offers if you call this classy. I admit, compared to Hollywood, Big Men, Hunks Touch, Mr. Earth, Body Spec, etc, this place is much better. However, has anyone seen the SANCTUARIO in Quezon City – most major M2M massage places in Bangkok look like that, if not better.

My first experience in a Bangkok sauna was at ALBURY, as Sukhumvit Soi 11. Its located in a sprawling bungalow with a wonderful garden which flanks the driveway. On entering, you get the feeling that a lot of money was invested in this place. It has a coffee shop, gym, downstairs hot showers with lockers, and impeccably maintained rooms in the upper floor. There’s no rush to choose. You sip a drink at the coffee shop and look at the guys 80% of whom have great gym toned bodies and guaranteed size L. Also try Hero and the other places in BKK, Pataya and Chiang Mai.

Whereas in Manila, a place like this would have a maximum of about 20 guys (mostly 10-12) in the BKK saunas there are about 50 guys, on the average. Some places offer foreigners too (Brazilian, Russian, etc.)

Agree rin ako na angelo is very good, but try RAM, if he’s still there.

    2. CLASSY NOT

    3. No Extra Policy

Hypocrisy ito and it drives up the tip. My experience in these place is that where extra service is allowed (tolerated), standard and tip and its not too high (average 1000) . Proprietors of these places should understand the mentality of the guys. Kung bawal, mas mahal. This was the policy of the defunct D’ Friendship. When you got up, youl’d realize that the guys are really more interested in making you horny, and, when you’re in that state start teasing your thing…then the haggling begins…bawal kasi dito, sir…matatangal ako – so, to compensate for the risk that the guy might be kicked out, you’re forced to pay more. I don’t know if the guys at Hilom do this, because so far, I’ve just gotten my regulars from the other establishments who transferred there. But that sign, no prostitution is a barefaced scam because it would encourage some of the guys (nott all) to start the haggling for as much as they could after the poor customer has been aroused.

Not sure though.

Actually, regular ako ng Hilom for the very opposite reason. They actually treat their masseurs/ staff way better kaysa sa ibang massage parlors na napuntahan ko. Ask the masseurs mismo if they prefer working at Hilom or the other massage centers (at may commission sila pagka-alam ko kasi nakita ko sa spreadsheet nila sa computer, maliit lang nga). Sa ibang clinics kasi wala na ngang commission may kaltas pa sa tips ang masseurs (mga 100-200php ang bawas, my gus!). Also sa iba eh 3pm-3am ang pasok…. not to say na Hilom has the best employee benefits around, but at least better than its peers in the industry.
Madalas nandun ang may-ari. Chikahin niyo minsan kung na-timingan niyo. Not to put the masseurs down….pero pa minsan eh pa-awa effect rin kasi, not that you can blame them sa hirap ng buhay ngayon.

*actually, dalawa ng regular masseurs ko ang pinalipat ko na sa Hilom dahil may 1K penalty sila sa dating pinapasukan nila na hindi nila mabayaran dahil na-late lang sila sa pag-pasok. OA davah!?!

we have to remember that we are dealing not with commodity but persons. As we have the right to choose the masseur that will service us let us also remember that the masseur has also the right to choose their client. It must not be a big deal.

i have been to hilom last may when i went to the philippines for holiday. i would say that the massage was good but i was put off when the masseur offered an extra service and asking for one thousand pesos.and i’m not used to this kind of system. i wouldnt mind giving tip after the service but offering an extra service is not my cup of tea.

I am travelling to Manila from the US next month. I have read many pros and cons on this site. How are things at Hilom? Better? Who should I request for my massage? Thank you so much. Also, any other suggestions of competitors that I should try?

    08/05/18 21:20
  106. #158  Andrei

I travel a lot because of my work visiting places around the country and abroad as well. When I was in Manila, I really thought of going to HILOM to try it for relaxation but due to time constraints and besides I felt tired and exhausted from long business trips (I didn’t feel like going out anymore) so I just stayed in my hotel and preferred to get an out-call hotel service instead. I searched the net and I found GOOD HEALTH MASSAGE MANILA, the name of massage service offered by Rico (his site: http://www.geocities.com/goodhealthmassagemanila/spa.html).

I tried it and he’s really good! I would say I got a great whole body massage that I truly enjoyed! I got real value for my money! If you are after a REAL, GOOD, SOOTHING, PLEASURABLE and REFRESHING BODY MASSAGE, I recommend this guy. Good masseur, good massage, good service!

That’s an honest apology from Hilom.

I guess, dealing with different clients with different culture, background, orientation, expectation, etc. is tough. The only piece of advice I can give you now is to tell your staff that they are working in a service oriented establishment and that they should work and behave as such. Meaning, clients’ satisfaction depends on how they handle/treat them. Clients’ loyalty depends on their performance. Cost constraint will never come as a problem in the end.

Even if they build their sense of responsibility towards their client but lack responsibility towards their job and Hilom as their company, then it’s useless. They’ll never execute their job correctly and your set goals will never be attained.

I just hope that you can find a long-term solution to the problems of the business that comes your way.

HHHmmm, having read a lot about this HILOM and other spa’s, it raised quite the interest for me to actually try other spa’s. i’ve been visiting Blue palm near kalentong. It was my first experience for the gay spa thinggy. It has some how been my utopia for releasing my sexual desires. But some times I really just go for the massage. but what the heck, the masseurs are just too sensual I end up for an ES. What to do. That’s my weakness. But with hilom, I hope they also can give me the same experience if not even better than what I’ve experience in Blue Palm. Not all of them were that great, but after so many returns to the Spa, I’ve had my own favorites and know how much to get ready with in terms of tips. I only receive a really great service for one guy, but he’s gone, did it for a day and I was his 1st customer, and surprisingly he went all the way down my pants and gave me something I didn’t expect from a straight guy. Well, call it luck, but I guess it also has to about how great service theses masseurs can give. Some are great, some don’t even pass at the crossroads, but some are just damn hell gorgeous in the way they make you feel and the way they make the experience exhilarating. Good luck to us all who are looking for either relaxation or just a really good time for sex.

  109. #155  Hilom

    Good day sir Vhonne,
I would like to apologize for your unsatisfactory experience when you visited Hilom.
I would like to assure you that we do not think that our clients are unwanted nor miserable. If we did, what does that say about us?
Hilom is gay owned and operated and we are fans of the whole spa experience that we can get around South East Asia but we feel there is still a big gap here in the Philippines.
What our objective is to really create a space for the urban gay man where they can truly be comfortable in and address their various needs. Where they can feel good about themselves. Some will say this is a PR spin, I don’t blame them.
Are we successful with our objective as of now? To be honest, not yet, but we are trying our best. We do hope that we will be able to improve the quality of our services to international standards. There is no reason not to be able to really (except of course those that involve cost constraints), but it is a steep learning curve. Birthing pains and missteps are expected but sadly this is not a good excuse nor should it be.
I am personally and truly sad that we, at Hilom, came off as trying to take advantage of the clients. For that we are truly sorry. All we can really do is to keep trying until we can meet our client’s expectations and needs. To improve our staff’s abilities and build in them a sense of responsibility towards their clients. It is not as easy as I have found out, however it is a challenge that we will not tire or shy away from.

    Regards,
    Hilom

If everyone’s primary motive is just to release their burning desire for sex in going to MPs or Spas like HILOM, then their purpose of visiting is defeated.

I visited Hilom once just for curiosity on their ads which says “Sensual healing to lighten your spirits”, it wasn’t that sensual, it’s just an ordinary touch here and there. I can’t even describe it as lymphatic massage. Well, the interior is quite authentic as to compare it with a real Spa but then their VIP room is very small, you can’t even stretch out your arms sideways. THE MASSEUR TRIED TO CONVINCE ME OF AVAILING THEIR SO CALLED ES BUT SORRY FOR HIM AM NOT INTERESTED IN SUCH SERVICES. If their notion is when you visit their spa is just to avail of their ES, they should think again and try to understand the true meaning of what is written in their foyer area which reads “This establishment does not condone prostitution.” WOW!!! They just want to take advantage of your money, ‘cmon, wake up! They just think of you as unwanted and miserable because you pay them for sex. Sorry to say this, but this is a reality.

Release of tension and release of burning desire for sex is completely different.

    Human Touch na ako forever.
Sa kanto lang halos ng EDSA and Quezon Ave.
    300 quiao lang.

Who cares for the lotion, scrub, sauna and New Age Music. A 1hour bath is just too much for lust that cannot wait, when all one wants is a fix that should’nt take more that 30minutes.

Basic Xtra starts from 500 up. Depending on your satisfaction level, it’s up to you to be more generous.

Atsaka bading ka, pupunta ka sa SPA with sex, not even at the back of your mind. C’mon. It’ll always be at the front, center and back, when a bading goes for a massage in a SPA

hi jia, i think most gays are really praning when it comes to “showering” with the masseur. frankly, i find it erotic for another guy to scrub my body and touch my private parts. during my brief visit to hilom, it was so cold when i took the shower and the masseur asked me if i want to be assisted. i said yes and he gladly took hold of the soap and lathered my body from neck to ankle. he then generously lathered my private parts. At first my batuta was so manhid kasi ang lamig. but when he started lathering it, it started to respond until so hard and stiff. he also lathered my other parts of the body. afterwards, he took the towel and dried me and brought me to the massage room. he gave me a nice massage afterwards. when the massage was about to finish, he whispered into my ear something like “you want me to touch your groin sir?” sure i said, then he started touching my private parts. he then whispered that he is game naman… medyo nainitan ng kaunti so i said yes. he quoted an amount which seems affordable to me naman so bumigay na ako… talagang game xa.. after giving me a nice romansa.. bumigay sya ng husto to the point na pinatalikod ko sya (i want my guy to be submissive)… sumunod naman… medyo pinasok ng bahagya then sa labas na lang pinalabas… super ok naman ang feeling pagkatapos… cguro my advantage is that am physically goodlooking and attractive… kaya medyo na allure yung guy sa akin kasi talagang enjoy din sya…/

As a rule of thumb I always go to massage centers/ spas before 10pm. Not only do I avoid the crowd and get first pickings among the masseurs available (fresh pa sila!), but you are also safe (for those familiar with operations, cops do their dirty work after 11pm for “bailing” or in most cases extortion purposes). O diba?

Haaay, nabasa ko yung isang press release ng mga pulis and they said they “rescued” the dancers from Adonis. Galing nila mag-spin diba? Baka ang na-rescue eh ang pinaghirapan ng mga boys na kita nila. Is it any wonder most people call our pulis here “buwayas”?

    08/04/14 16:56
  119. #145  vince

jigen’s right. it’s a bit risky to be patronizing quezon city MPs and bars now. the cops are doing the rounds of both girlie and gay bars–it won’t be long before they start raiding the MPs and “spas”.

    Hi Guys,

Considering that the Quezon City Police are launching a crackdown on so-called prostitution and carrying out raids after raids almost every midnight, I am thinking if a trip to any of these QC-based massage/spa centres is still a better idea to entertain.

What is your say on this?

i visited hilom last week during my brief stay in metro manila. i arrived too early hence dont have much choices. i got the VIP room and had a nice body scrub. was so titillated when the masseur assisted me in the shower room and soaped my private parts… the guy offered for an extra service so bumigay naman ako. ok naman ang service… on my way out, i saw the guy that i really wanted to have …MY IDEAL MASSEUR… he was inside the aquarium then playing cards with the rest of the guys… i got his name from the manager… when i visit manila again next month, will try to reserve him…maputi sya and quite chubby…. hilom definitely is better than the other spas i visited in quezon city… at least hindi marumi and parang professional ang dating ng place… hmmm

bong – sorry foe the late reply. you can reach derek thru 0923-316-1013 or thru their land line – 285-0665.

charlies_enchey: yes i was able to try ace and i could say that he is good both in massage as well in extra service…

honestly, based on my experience – the extra service that each masseur gives really varies on the request of the client and capabilities of masseurs. its normally dependent on how often or how familiar the masseur is with the client. they normally don’t give their best during the first time so you will have something to look forward to when you come back. so one piece of advice, try to go as often as you can.

After a few weeks of being out of the country eh na-miss ko ang mga Pinoy. So siyempre bumalik ako ng Hilom. I got Renz and I had a very good experience with him. Saya! Medyo may kakulitan ang character niya pero para sa akin eh type ko yun (although I can see how others might get offended kung sumobra ang mga hirit niya).

May isa pa akong nakita doon, si Ace. Ala- Jay Manalo ang dating…anyone tried him? Any reactions? Parang ang sarap kasi ng caramel skin niya eh. Hehe.

for those who just want pure massage, no xtra service , go to fitness first spa sa “the block” , look for pio, mabait, magaling magmasahe, ang lambot ng kamay (as in), legit na spa sympre ang fitness, so dont expect xtra services, but he is really good, me mga promo sila , buy 1 take 1, which will cost u around 1500 (combined scrub and massage for 2 sessions, each session will only be around 750)…no wet area lang…cheap di ba? hindi ka pa minamadali…by appointment sympre…but pio is good talga; its not that i am promoting him…i just wanna share my experience lang…wellness to all.

i read all the comments about hilom from the various readers… just wan to ask if all of you who posted your comments, did you even bother to check out the place? it seems like many of your are just out there to make a comment with out even really trying to check out the place… someone even compared it to the massage clinics located in kamias, is there really a point of comparison? i suggest you first try out the place and then you post your comment.

i have tried various spa from the spa (libis, makati, podium), sanctuario (manila & qc), city life style, whensha, human touch, hollywood, body spec, bodylax, revivir, field of joy (used to be field of dreams), magic, hafadai (previously feels good) and even the trashy ones located in kamias and some in cubao…

based on my experience, it may not have the complete facilities as sanctuario, city life style or the spa but definitely it way above the other clinics… and the massage is of the same quality as that of the ones in the liegitmate spas…

for all spa enthusiasts and open minded people, i suggest you try hilom spa… try derek, gardo, joseph cause they all give good massage. you may also want to try hector, alex, reggie, renz, ace, tristan, deo and their newest guy – paolo. i think i am in the position to make this comment cauase i have tried hilom…

more power to hilom and hope you come up with better promos to complement your the best service that one can get only from …. HILOM…

Tristan was a disaoppintment both in extra service and equipment. In fairness, his massage was okay. Can anyone recommend Derek, the manager?

    08/02/26 16:14
  146. #118  Bong

I was able to avail of Tristan’s service. Massage was okay but not the extra service. His tool was a big disappointment, considering he was first asking for a fee of PHP2500. When I pretended that I’m not in the mood for extra service, the fee was cut almost a third. Has any one tried the service of Derek, the manager? He looks cute!

I visited Hilom Feb 24, 2008. The place is classy, quiet, nice ambience. I found the place too small, however. I used the VIP room (quite small) that had a shower but no toilet, so I had to go out to pee. The massage was okay but did not fit the description in their ‘menu.’ They have a total of only five “rooms”–4 regular and 1 VIP. I left happy, though =)

went backt o hilom. got a guy named Alex. sa body at kinis ng balat, wala ka masasabi. he has fair complexion bordering to tisoy. medyo not that tall lang nga. mga around 5′7. dick size is average. if you are a lover of well-defined bodies with milky white skin, he is the one. definitely may face siya. but, he is a bit pricey if you want full service. pero pag romance lang eh puwede na. sobrang mabait pa. suggestion lang, dont get the VIP room pag siya kasama kasi dont expect anything pag pinaliguan or scrub ka niya. a simple massge room upstairs would be okay.

kaya lang he looks familiar. hindi ba siya si dixson ng sanctuario dati?

    @marebro

Nung nag-punta ako dun earlier this week eh inaayos na yung shower room ng VIP room (gusto ko kasi sana ng signature massage nila pero the room wasn’t available dahil inaayos ng tubero). Should have waited, kasi patapos na pala at nakita ko na it was working after my regular massage. May bara yata kaya di daw na-tritrigger yung heater at mahina ang water pressure (kebs).

Anyway, mukhang may mga bago na naman silang mga therapist this week! Subukan niyo si Jerome!

    08/02/03 03:38
  150. #114  marebro

Went there last week, pero Gardo pala does not do scrub and bath, only massage. So I ended up with Angelo. Ang laki ng katawan kaya the hard massage was super hard.

The session and extra session went well. The staff at the reception and Angelo were OK.

Sira lang iyong water heater sa shower room. Hindi mainit iyong tubig during the shower, I was shivering and shaking due to the cold. Pilit ayusin ni Angelo pero medyo sira talaga. I hope it is repaired soonest.

@ronsantos I agree with you, the place is a little cramp, however the ambiance is very good. What I like the most of this place is the management Gardo and Derek, very accommodating even the staff and the masseurs. With the improvement you mentioned will draw this place more clients. They should have more VIP rooms for those who wants more privacy. Masseurs were good looking and have several to choose from.

BTW: I am eyeing on one name Jerwin ba yon? Is anyone try him and is he do extra service if so how good is he really? Looks like most of the masseurs offer extra but don’t know if all of them are obliged to offer such. If anyone tried them all who is the best?

    Cheers!

  169. #95  Ronsantos

Tried Hilom and the following are my notes:

    Positive:
    - cozy
    - clean
    - managers were very accommodating
    - nice ambiance
    - place smells good
    - very sensual
    - they have a good number of good looking masseurs
    - masseurs were very courteous
    - 120 minutes of scrub and massage was done before any other
    offer was made
    - many parking slots

    Needs Improvement:
    - scrub was not that good, needs further training
    - water pressure in shower is not enough
    - liquid soap used was not foamy
    - masseur i got was a little shy when washing me
    - a little cramp, only 1 VIP room so you have to reserve in advance
    - they make you choose in an aquarium…made it look cheap, they could
have used the space for a wet area or another VIP room
    - make shift locker was too small, no wet area and no door

    Over all rating:
8 / 10 – just work on the areas of improvement and i guess more patrons will
    flock

The masseur i got was cute…courteous…needs improvement it scrubbing, but is good in other aspects.

Those who have tried Hilom, please share your notes with me too

    Thanks!

@sentosapark – i also heard na if he is on home service, he can go all the way. as in inject you with the lethal 8 incher!!!

by the way, sorry sa wrong spelling ko ng “exorbitant” in my previous entry.

sorry ha, medyo binibitin bitin kita, hehehehe

    08/01/09 10:58
  172. #92  henry

@sentosapark – i will be honest, the price was really exhorbitant. in fact, initially i thought na naisahan ako. until i saw his milky skin, pinkish nipples (or at least that’s how i saw it dahil madilim) and of course, the killer rod! doon ko naisip na kahit papaano eh nasulit. kasi feeling ko, nakahawak ako ng puwedeng entry sa guiness book of world records. so unless you have the same objective or desire, i dont recommend that you get him.

as for the photo, he is not there. pero two of his very close friends are there. kung paano naging very close friend at kung sino sila, it’s for you to find out. (hayan, talagang pang showbiz blind item na, hehehe!)

i’d make this some sort of blind item to make it more interesting (ala showbiz). went there a couple of days ago. had a body scrub. hmmm…medyo parang nagmamadali ako na paliguan. he even did it with all his clothes on! massage, in fairness, was ok, though not spectacular. no sensual touching. then, he asked na if i wanted more. of course i said yes. mataas siya mag presyo pero because i had money at that time, go na. heto na ang surprise! sobrang ang lambot ng skin niya. ang puti and his nipples were bordering between light brown and pink. he had a very lean twink-like body (which is my type). pero ang killler…8 INCHES LONG AND AROUND 5 INCHES CIRCUMFERENCE (or girth ba ang tawag doon? bagsak ako sa ganyang subject kasi). grabe, ngayon lang ako nakakita ng pinoy na ganyan ka gifted!!!!

I actually talk to Derek (the manager) and Gardo (the assistant manager) of Hilom whenever I visit the place and they are quite personable imo and open to criticisms. In fact, I think all of us who go to Hilom, be it our first or 100th time, should really give them honest feedback about their place. I find that they do try to take some action if the concern is valid.

I’ve actually complained about one of their therapist before and the next time I got him he actually improved his social skills. Feeling ko kasi karamihan hindi nagsasabi kaya di rin nila nalalaman na may problema.

@Jerome: I would have called management’s attention on Ram if I you.

    07/12/31 20:41
  178. #86  jerome

Went there last week. Got Ram (or Rhum or Rum). He said extra service has minimum price of 2,500. I haggled since it was my first time and I don’t think he’s that good. He kept on telling me he was straight and he only does what he needs to do because it’s his job. Maybe it’s his job to take advantage of the customers. Their customer service was awful, they’d make you feel you have gone to the wrong place. I’ll not be coming back. My first experience was a disaster.

Went to Hilom last Sunday 9PM but was told all therapists were with customers at that time and I would have to wait for at least 45 minutes. Since they don’t have a wet floor area to make the waiting tolerable, I decided to just go some other time.

By the way, I was at Wensha QC last Saturday around 2AM with a friend after a party. We were told by the front desk staff that they have the complementary Shabu-Shabu at that time. Since we were not really able to eat much earlier (more of drinks), we went up right away to the dining area to get our fill. But to our extreme disgust we were told that the Shabu-Shabu offering ends at exctly 2AM and that they only offer a single bowl of “mami” from then on until 11AM. We opted to just get whatever they have to offer since we’ve already paid and all. But to make matters worse, what they actually gave us was just a small bowl of “sinabawang bihon” with a few bits of chicken in utterly bland broth. WTF?!! And no second servings at that! To think we paid the same price as for their full buffet or Shabu-Shabu promo! What were they trying to pull here? Geez, never again!

just got back from a massage session at Hilom and I was very satisfied with the experience. The masseur I got was very courteous and professional. Many commented here about the cramped space in the VIP room but for me it was adequate — tutal hindi naman tayo maghahabulan dun di ba? hehehe…One thing that really set the relaxing mood for me was the music…kung hindi ka naman magrelax sa sunud-sunod na gregorian at enya ewan ko na lang :) . All in all, I figure that place deserves a second visit since I had a great time. Peace!

That’s a nice apology from hilom. And apologize they should because the place isn’t nice. Gardo the manager was very nice though (and cute), professional and friendly. He shouldn’t be working there. The place is awful! I don’t know what the other guys are raving about the interiors, it’s nothing great. If you compare it to the cheap massage parlors mas maganda nga but i thought it was being compared to the nice ones like City Lifestyle or Sanctuario. These places have good looking masseurs who know how to do their job. Isa pa, Hilom is hardly a spa! Its just some cubicles for massage which is very low quality (avoid Tristan). Extra service is blatantly offered at the end for a 1k fee. Akala ko spa to that’s why i went there. It’s just an upscale massage parlor like Datu or Friendship.

At yung mga malalabo dyan, di porket gusto mo ng sex punta ka sa pangit na massage parlor at kung gusto mo ng magandang masahe punta ka sa maganda. Ive been to really nice spas where you can have both!

We deeply apologize for those with unfortunate experiences and beg for your patience and understanding as we try to find our footing.

Again, thank you for your patronage and apologize for those whose expectations we were not able to meet. Thank you, of course, to those who had kind words to say. We hope we maintain our good standing with you.

Aysus, what the hell am I ranting about?

They have pictures of their masseurs on their website, and you can get additional photos of them in less clothing if you send them an email?

    How silly am I?

Of course they don’t condone prostitution.

    Sheesh.

    07/12/18 16:33
  198. #66  DesperateHouseboy

sire_lee, buti ka pa nakuha mo yung full 2 hours. But as far as I know, everyone who goes there gets that card. I did.

I actually agree that the place is nice. Though really cramped, the interiors are classy and very tastefully done.

But what turned me off is their masseur “aquarium”. A 3m x 3m room with two benches and a tv, where the masseurs are supposed to hang out. It had a sliding glass door panel with one-way tinting, the kind where you can see them from the outside but they can’t see you.

And when I was there, a client who walked in, who could not choose which masseur to get, was made to choose by looking into that room.

Which is really sad because sayang naman all the money they spent to make the place look nice and all the efforts they exerted to make the place appear legit, not to mention that the people in front really seem to know the rudiments and nuances of the services they offer. Tapos when it goes down to it, they will allow you to choose your masseur by looking into that room, making your choice primarily, if not solely, basing it on what the therapist looks like? (And I know for a fact that their therapists are not even DOH-certified.)

I mean, whatever “illegitimate” activities happen between the client and the therapist are precisely that – betwen the client and the therapist – especially if they engage in said activities in the privacy of a VIP room. And it’s useless denying that it happens, no matter how classy or legit the place is.

But, hey, with them using an “aquarium”, despite the classy interiors, what sets them apart from such places as Datu and Magic Touch? The sign in front (which is conveniently nowhere in the photos posted here) might as well say, “We do not condone prostitution. Pero kayo na ang bahala, sir.”

If I were the owner, I’d totally do away with that room, and probably convert it into another VIP room.

Tapos, like what I witnessed in another spa (whose name I will not say; no matter how much its owner denies, the “DOH-certified” hunks he employs as therapists will act like man-ho’s with every client every chance they get), when the reception recommends a masseur and the client asks what he looks like, I’d ask the client, “Does it matter?” Ano kaya ang isasagot niya?

    But that’s just me.

    Uhh… world peace. :-)

ei last sat i was at hilom. i can say it was nice nmnan. kasi ako nakuha ko ung full 2 hours ko. kc nmn ang nkuha ko pla is the manager. so of course to make sure na bbalik ako eh full service talaga ang binigay. d naman sila agresive to insist extra. he asked lang if i wanted something else pa. sabi ko nlng lam mo na un…ahehehe.then may coffee pa ko after my massage. and he even gave me a sort of a membership card wherein after 8 sessions u get a free massage. oh db. in fairness nmn ok naman lahat…plus i got to read some mags and relax a bit. babalik ako. matry naman ung angelo, deo and jerwin. ehehehehehe

    Went to Hilom last Saturday.

I called ahead to reserve the VIP room. I got there before my appointment, but I waited 55 mins for the VIP room because the guest before me was late.

In other places (like City Lifestyle), they hold your appointment for 15 mins, after which they give your reservation away. They said they didn’t want to get the late guest mad.

Good thing I had nothing better to do, I didn’t want to drive home to Pque, and brave the traffic which lasted till around 2am (or so I heard).

Anyway, in the tiny VIP room (which was more like a cubicle; if you extend both arms sideways, one of your hands would be out in the hallway), my masseur seemed in a hurry to get down to it, he didn’t even let me take a shower before the scrub (ouch!). And Dude is right, the 120-minute package I paid for lasted only 90 mins.

The scrub was far from thorough, the massage, though not so bad, was totally rushed, and my masseur seemed intent on getting jiggy wid it and giving me my happy ending asap. In fairness to him though, he did not haggle for a price, just saying “ikaw na ang bahala sa akin”, which I totally appreciated.

At least he lived up to his “angelic” name. Oops. Well, that’s if angels had “short”-comings, and ball-bearings (actually, just one) awkwardly embedded in the most unlikely parts of their anatomy. Okay, too much information.

The irony of it is that right at the foyer (which is like 6 feet away from the VIP room), a large sign greets clients, “This establishment does not condone prostitution.” Hmm.

But I think I deserved my happy ending after how long I waited. Not to mention the fact that I was hardly able to relax, and I believe no one was, because the “chillout” bar right-smack next to Hilom just happened to have a rock band playing last night. That was what really took the cake.

Sadly, if you’re looking for healing from the frenzied hurly-burly of life on a Saturday night, ya ain’t gonna get it from Hilom.

Needless to say, I’m not going back there. Sorry.

Arnel,Revivir is on Scout de Guia, along Tomas Morato. I think may link na dito from previous posts.Let me know kung di mo mahanap.
Men’s spa like Hilom,Revivir and others should never be on our blind masseurs’ league.I mean,if you go to a spa purely for the massage and its luxuries, go to The Spa or Palm Gardens or Chi Spa or to the blinds. Men’s spas cater to a community who needs more than “the” massage. While they front massage as primary service, you should know better what to expect. It’s primarily the reason why you came in… in the first place. If the masseurs are not that good, move on and pick someone else. That’s why, we have fora like this for recommendations. Now, if there are places like Hilom and Revivir where masseurs are trained and courteous, we celebrate them. It’s just beyond ignorance to me why people question the “beyond massage service” offered and over-emphasize the expected quality of massage in men’s spa. IMHO, it’s being preposterous and unreasonable.

I’ve been to three different massage parlors before… And all three masseurs who serviced me asked purposively of the extra service they offer… I just found the act offensive knowing that it’s the massage that i’m after… I may be sexually active, but never did i have one that’s marked with a price

the latest massage I had was with a blind masseur… and they’re far, far better than the previous masseurs… maybe it’s because blind masseurs were trained to “see” while they feel… only that I felt guilty after the session because of pity… but the experience made me learn that if you give the macho men big tips, give the blinds bigger!

so if HILOM gives the public with pure and honest service… customers shall experience their money’s worth through pure and honest FUN!

and if bi’s like us need a sensuous environment, maybe it’s best upto the nudity of the masseurs only…

    :-)

I hope members of this community continues to give objective and helpful tips for the fellows. Thanks guys.

bwahaha! why do i get the sense that all these hilom bashers are actually just owners of massage parlors who are feeling threatened because hilom offers classier service at practically the same price? =)

Too bad, there seems to be more bad reviews than good of this spa.Hope the management is taking the comments constructively. For that matter, I recommend Revivir spa. Finally after some research and guts, I finally was able to confirm a revival experience st Revivir. Discreet location, safe parking, clean and spacious rooms and very good..errr, outstanding massage…highly recommended for any of you looking for a good massage by men.

Wow! Ang daming pihikan naman na vaklush these days sa Manila. lolz!

Migs! I went there twice now from the time you posted at iisahin ko silang lahat. lolz. I must say the place is pretty clean and cozy compared to its contemporaries sa kamuning/ kamias.

IMO, about time someone did something like this.

  217. #47  Dude

Availed of the 120-minute massage with body scrub and shower. Guess what? It was only 90 minutes.

The damn masseur kept fiddling with my tool then saying he was done. That was after 60 mins. When I insisted it should be 2 hours, he continued another 15 mins. A lil while later, He said the same thing again. When I insisted it wasn’t two hours yet, he left the room for five minutes to check the time, only to return to say it was almost time. He resumed massage then did the same routine with my tool again. This time, I stood up and took a shower, When I got to the locker, I realized I was only in there for a total of 90 mins, body scrub, shower, intermittent massage, and shower again.

Folks, don’t get the masseur J.R.
And to think I asked the management twice who was good and experienced and when I picked him, they said he was. Probably experienced in extra service which wasn’t what I was after. When I later confronted the receptionist, he said he assumed he was experienced because he was new but came from another massage parlor.
    WTF?

Classy and clean? Hardly, More like presentable. But the damn place is so cramped. The photographer was a genius to have made it look spacious and beautiful. In person, it really leaves very much to be desired.

Not recommended for that price. Mag Wensha ka na lang.

    07/12/12 04:42

feeling ko hindi tinitira ng XXX ang mga gay places coz most people in the tv industry whether entertainment or news are G.A.Y.

merong pangilan-ilan na nae-expose pero ilan lang. as in ang konti sa dami ng meron dyan.

P.S. not all gays understand gay language. sa mga nagsusulat using gay language, paki-linaw lang para maintindihan ng lahat.

Yes its a nice marketing tool but at the same time extra service is ILLEGAL! I don’t know what the owners were thinking having a PR like this. Its trouble if you ask me. Dami kayang ABS baklas reading this. Sige, triple X ang bagsak ng spa na to!

    hi migs!

i was there last friday night…. (dec 7, immediately when i’ve read your post…)

the place is indeed clean and classy…. the staff were very accomodating…

but the sad thing is, it only has one VIP room so you need to queue up unless you make an appointment ahead of time….

it was my first time taking that Turkish bath where the masseur bathes you while both of you are in the nude…. hehehe…

the experience was worth the affordable price… extra service comes with extra price…. hahaha…

How does this differ from the lines of male massage parlors along Kamias and Kamuning? Massage parlor for me works as one of the most discreet ways to relax. But the unhygienic environ and poor facial quality of men are the biggest challenges to fully maximize the experience.Any of you here who can please recommend a better MP experience? Thank you.
