Oblation Run 2007

Just got this announcement:

The UP Alpha Phi Omega Fraternity will stage the 2007 OBLATION RUN on December 14, 2007, 12NN, at Palma Hall (AS), University of the Philippines-Diliman. This fraternity tradition turns into a university event attracting big crowd and media mileage. Be there!

  2. Hahahaha! I’m actually a member of this fraternity. Did the same thing when I was in my first year. Medyo tumigas ung ano ko nung nag huhubad na kami lahat sa room, nakakahiya, akala nila malaki lang talaga ung ano ko, though malaki nmn talaga, pero syempre iba kasi medyo tumigas, hahaha, di lang nila alam… sus!!!!! Nakakahiya talaga…

  12. Little fish, apparently you don’t know the real essence of being naked as part of this event. Being naked shows complete/utmost freedom, without any trappings of malisciousness and of capitalism.

    Also for those who dont know, they’re not just plain naked fratboys running for shitssake, they also hold placards in which the nation’s/university’s primary concerns and grievances are written, like the TOFI, the continuing suppresion of press freedom, etc.

    Yeah i know, anlayo ng narating ng comment na to. i’m just defending the spirit of the oblation run. it’s not plain stupidity. Critics should first THINK before SPEAKING. Hindi rin ata madaling maghubad infront of people no, even if you’re wearing a mask.

    Haha…saya ng oblation run kanina. pinutakti ng media, plain usyoseros, students from other schools. Anticipated nga yung event sobra.

  13. @Little fish… Oblation run is not a funfare to salivate for naked men running around. If that’s what you are thinking, you can easily search the net for porn. But this is a tradition amongst the studentry wherein you can take part in the issues of the day.

  14. Dance of the Brave, Kindly specify what is the gender/sexuality of the naked men you mean? those are boys?!, girls?!, or gaymen?! If you use the word “man/men” winawasak mo ang gana namin sa sex life! nakakainis! You hurt us, if you use “man/men” coz the word “man/emn” has many genders and this is the word meaning a certain specie of human being. Anong gusto namin bakla?! Ano kami, lesbian?! Specify what is the gender/sexuality of the “men” naked means, so that I will not insult you, not only you, but any all people use that demonic word!

  15. frat member po aq, actually personally, wala nman talagang sense yung running naked. kung freedom talaga ipina-parade, e d tumakbo nang hubad nang hindi nakatakip ang mata. sabi mo free ka, e bat nahihiya ka, nagtakip ka pa ng mukha…. peace brother
