How do you reinvent yourself?
Change is inevitable. Sometimes you have to submit to changes to keep your focus in life on track. It doesn?t really mean total transformation ? it could be a slight diversion on your priorities, a modification of genres, a shift in interest, or simply a new haircut.

For actor Sherwin Ordo?ez, change arrived in different forms. At first, it was a move from dancing to acting. He was then part of a boy group, Abstract Dancers, when he got the break to enter showbiz. In his group, he was one of the more fortunate ones who truly got recognition, along with fellow dancers like Dingdong Avanzado and Michael Flores.

He became a regular in the variety show SOP before he was offered to be part of the local super hero show, Pintados. His boy-next-door aura made him perfect for a role in the teen series, Click. From Click, he did a number of other TV shows such as Ikaw Lang Ang Mamahalin, Beh Bote Nga, and now, Nuts Entertainment.

Despite his easy-going roles, Sherwin has been drawn more to serious acting, particularly, drama. His various stints taught him a lot of things, such how to get proper lighting during takes, where to get the energy called for by the role, attitude towards his career, and how to get along with people (not just with fellow actors, but the “small people” behind the set).

The shift from being a normal person to a celebrity has brought both good and bad changes to Sherwin. Although he enjoys the recognition, the autograph-signing, plus the perks of being famous (like a sizeable check and traveling a lot), he still hopes that he could keep vital things in life, like “privacy”. He doesn?t like it when some people tend to make stories whenever he goes out with his lady friends.

“MInsan hindi ko alam kung matutuwa ako or hindi. Hindi mo tuloy alam kung gusto ba talaga nila sa ?yo o ayaw.” He?s not complaining. It?s just that, he found out, that you can?t really please everybody. Looking at the brighter side, though, he loves his career because he was able to meet a lot of people and establish friendships with them.

“My career is like Friendster, and daming connections!” Sherwin jokes. With this, he met his chemist friend who helped him with his newfound opportunity, that is entrepreneurship. Sherwin established his own line of scents, Winfresh that offers perfumes, body scrubs, and lotions. (Continue reading the article here.)

    i am not fond of artista and i just stumbled this site accidentally but honestly he is cute and still young looking sa pic although i have not seen him in person for a long time. i saw him 6 years ago sa boracay when they were taping click. and i think he looks still the same sa pic at sa person 6 years ago. medyo pumayat sya ngayun sa pic. and tisoy yun. please give his pics some justice. a cute guy deserves it.
