Why should he be thankful for? For the humiliation he got after the video was passed around? Yeah right!@#$ Even if he did not pay for the operation, still the government has funding for that (if that was a government owned hospital) so why should he be thankful in the first place! I wonder how much was paid to the writer to write such a thing! I was thinking of this while walking home after work: Desperate Housewives... Remember when a lot our our kababayans in US complained the unfair comment that Terry Hatcher made in one of the episodes of Season 4??? Remember how disgusted we (I) were when she said that Filipinos are not fit as doctors (to that effect)... Don't this incident just proves how true that comment can be??? This might be an isolated case, however this should not be dealt lightly as this implies how weak our justice system, professional ethics and substantially our morality is.
