The Bakla Review on Climax 2

How long ago was the release of the first Climax photo book? The makers sure took their time with the second one. X-Ray Media, which also publishes the “X-Ray” titles, are by now the masters in assembling flavors-of-the-moment Filipino men for portfolios of impeccable quality and steaminess. Photography, styling, design, packaging — all ace. Testicles, shafts, asses, pubic hair — present and in abundance. Only the cockheads are missing… You’d be hardpressed to find their bodies worshipped in richer textures. Like the first edition, Climax 2 is a beautiful celebration of flesh. It feels like a liberation by way of objectification. [Source]

For those outside the Philippines who are asking if I can help ship you a copy — I can try, but I would say the cost will be prohibitive (e.g., FedEx shipping to US costs approximately USD$30). [The most wise would be to have just 1 person in the US to buy in bulk and be the one to ship to the others who want to buy. Any volunteers?] Is it worth it the money and the shipping fees? I don’t know, only you, the one spending can make that judgment. I have my copy, just like “The Bakla Review,” and I’m surely not complaining. Hehehe!

I might be willing to do the shipment within the US…but, may I suggest to probably (to those who reside in the US) to order first through you and maybe send their payment to ME (plus the shipping cost), then I will mail the mag from here in San Francisco to anywhere in the US??? This way, I’d know that my money (if I order in bulk) will not go to waste. I mean, I only need ONE copy, so it’s not fair to get a dozen when no one has committed to get a copy or even buy…

  7. Count me in … teka, depende sa arrangement pala. Details, details, please. Mr. Moderator (aka ‘Migs’), do you know how much ang magasin mismo? Sorry, here go the questions … “Climax 2″ lang ba ‘to? Meron pa bang “Climax 1″? Ilang pages ba’ng mga ‘to? Thirty dollars is very reasonable naman depende sa no. and quality of pictures. Is this a magasin ba o softcover book like “Rice” (which had amazing pics)? Sorry, sorry, those are the questions for now.

    BTW, EJL, I’m in the East Coast and I think PayPal would be great.

  13. Hello, uli. BTW, THANK YOU SO MUCH, Migs, for offering to do this, tuloy o hindi. So it’s about $39? That’s $30 for shipping plus about $8.56 (at 1 USD = 44.35 PHP) for the mag itself. So far I see 3 people interested so it’s going to cut down costs to about 18.56 or 19 (30 divided 3 plus 8.56) per person if my math is right (plus about $5 for mailing within US) so that’s about $24 grand total per person in the US. So that’s $39 each person kung individual mailing (which Migs doesn’t seem interested in) vs. $24 if bulk mailing to 1 person. Tama ba’ng math ko?

    If EJL doesn’t push through I MIGHT volunteer instead depende sa arrangement. I have PayPal. Migs, if it isn’t too much of a hassle feel free to e-mail me updates about this. Salamat uli!
