Cosmopolitan Bachelor Bash 2008

I love the abundance mindset. Different people understand this term differently, but for me, abundance simply means there’s more than enough for everyone. That to have some doesn’t mean others have to have less. That to enjoy something in generous amounts, others do not necessarily have to suffer poverty. Which leads me to the Cosmopolitan Bachelor Bash held last September 11, 2008. No, I wasn’t there to personally witness the supposedly wild and wet showdown of innumerable hunks — but the following photos are substantial evidence that indeed there are enough Cosmo hunks for all of us to be generously delighted about.

akihiro isn’t so goodlooking in this one, maybe because of the angle but he’s stll hot nonetheless. bruce tama na nakaka umay ka na, not hot and never was. ang taray! macky escalona is still the same college hottie from way back then hehe oh and polo contis came as a surprise he is hot and i bet can even get hotter.

I’ve been invited several times to this event but I’d always decline. Finally, last rainy Thursday evening for lack of anything to do, I yielded to my friend’s ‘insistence’ to give it a try. He told me that I might just enjoy it. Well, dearies, there is just one thing I can say about the whole show… NAKAKA-UMAY! Truly, men nowadays of all shapes, sizes & orientations are a dime a dozen! Don’t get me wrong, I’m a fan of the male figure (as well as the female, at times). Pero, parang once you’ve seen one, you’ve seen them all. It was a showcase of how steroid overuse/abuse can affect one’s body, positively or otherwise. A few guys were OK. BUT, yung ibang guys, my gosh! Hindi ko alam kung bakit naging ‘models’. Hindi naman sa sinasabi ko na flawless ako, pero up close, most of them already have stretch marks (to think most of them are just in their 20’s!) & other chismis sa skin, na even a considerable amount of foundation can’t cover. Anyway, the girls & gays lapped it up as usual. For them, at least for a brief moment, their short-term fantasies were fulfilled. As for me, that was my first & last Cosmo Bachelors’ Bash. Next time when I get invited, I’ll just tell my friend that I’d rather stay in bed & read a good book. Or when I probably get ‘horny’, I’d just pop in a DVD of my favorite Colt, Bel-Ami or Catalina gay movie. Hindi pa ako mabibitin… divah?! ; )

I think Cosmo has to be more real – they should put more men in the 30-45 bracket. So many hot guys who are in that age group who are largely ignored by Cosmo.
