there is nothing wrong with one’s religion, as long as it doesn’t trample someone else’s rights to have the same civil and human rights as everyone else in society. we all pay our taxes and obey the same civil laws – we do not need any religion to trample those civil and human rights. “true values and character” are not dependent on one’s religion, they are dependent on one’s civility and humanity.

Hi, a Medical Doctor here…as if naman being chaste is an impossibility…even Sigmund Freud believes that those who are completely sexually active during adulthood may have an early exposure to sex during childhood or may have had a traumatic sexual experience e.g. being molested….Chris Tiu may not have the same childhood experience like the rest of us here, which is an early sexual experience. He came from a practicing Catholic Family (not just in matters of religousity and rituals etc) with a strong interior conviction of their being a Christian – that makes his conviction on living a chaste life possible.
Being chaste is not impossible. I may not be like Chris Tiu, but I support his being chaste – it’s a choice, just like your choices of being enslave of sex, pornography, and homosexuality.
