Register Yourself, Will Yah?

21825I invite you, dear MGG loyal reader, register yourself. Why? Well, so when you comment, you are more easily identified (of course you may use an alias)… so you have character and presence here, your favorite blog (hehehe!)… so people may get to see your picture (if you want to — you may upload your pic, or at least an avatar) along with your comments (feature coming eventually)… and so you can see some “for registered users only” posts — coming in the near future.   30. Hi Everyone! I am an American who has not yet learned Tagalog, but I am beginning to learn it. I have a lover in Manila and have visited last May-Jun (08)! I have always loved Asian People… especially those of the South East Asian Area; and I will be moving to Manila in July or August 2009 to stay. I am very worried about learning the customs and language unique to the Philippines and i would appreciate any advice any of you can offer me. I know that, in the west, there is more confrontation and conflict; I want to shed that and become more “Asian”, but I am not sure how to eliminate it and not be seen as a “weakling” there. I wonder how it is done there? I am looking forward to being with my lover and with the Filipino people there, but do not want to offend anyone… Please write with any advice to: duudad@yahoo.com it will be very much appreciated!
