Men’s Room – Photography For Men, By Men.
It all started back in 2007 when Ian Felix Alquiros (co-founder of Men’s Room) lost interest in his routinary life in a 9-hour Call Center Job in Cubao. Looking for a release from the stress of his job (and for added income), Ian bought his first DSLR (a Nikon D40) and his first Laptop – both purchases almost depleted his savings. From the first time he heard the shutter curtain click, he knew that at that point, photography will be one of his passions. Together with his good friend Dan Santos (Ian’s confidant and protege), they started a Photography Group catering only to Male Portraiture. Deviating from the heavy reliance to Photoshop, Ian Alquiros and Dan Santos founded a group that would present the natural charisma and machismo of their male sitters. From an idea to a well-respected group, Men’s Room is growing to be one of the most respected and established online-photography group in the Philippines. hindi ako naniniwala na minimal post processing at nag-deviate sa photoshop…o common….kita naman na adobeng adobe eh….naman!!!!!!

Hmm. I follow photosets from these photogs.
Great job indeed. But yeah I would have to agree, it’s somewhat impossible not to do some post-processing these days.

Only the shot of Dale Dizon works.
The other shots seems to be poorly posed for. The skin tones of the guys against the sun seems wrong…

photography is good… but they definitely need a stylist… all they do is shoot different guys in the same pose, venue, light and even the same underwear…

sana di na dapat gamitan ng photoshop o iba pang photo editing software yung pic ng models kasi mas maganda ang natural beauty kahit may peklat, stretch marks o maitim ang kili-kili o singit tunay na itsura nila ang nakikita mo sa binibili mong magazine at di yung puro retoke mas maganda pa magazine noon na true beauty ng models at di salamat photoshop.
