Love Against All Gaps
Entry Feed Trackback
When you find someone to love, someone who concocts just the right ingredients that make your heart skip a beat, would you pursue the relationship against all gaps — gaps in age, in social stratum, in educational attainment, in salaries and resources?
I invite you dear MGG reader, listen to this last of the 3-part podcast by the Fabcasters where we tackle McVie’s boy “Kent” (24-year age gap), and a fabulous podcast wrap up that ends with the ultimate money quote, this time coming from our venerable Grand Dame, CC: “You don’t love because of, or in spite of, you just love.”

huge age gap and difference in social/educational attainment/employment status is really difficult. it needs alot of work… and at time both of you don’t meet eye to eye… nakakapgod din.

based on my own experience it always boils down to what you can accept, how long you can endure, and what you can look past through no matter what age, gender, religion or social status it always comes down to these questions.

i’m the romantic type so i’d say one should pursue it pero it’s going to be a very, very, very difficult relationship. if both parties are mature and equipped enough to work it out, then good. pero most often, the relationship ends badly–and abruptly.
