That song just popped in my mind as I saw these photos sent to me as PR for this new movie by Cris Pablo’s Queeriosity/Sinehan Digitales, “Boylets.”

Sinehan Digitales presents a QUEERiosity Project: “Boylets”

Synopsis:
How far will you go to prove your worth? Yes, how far will it take you to realize your worth? Teenaged Krys is simply starting his day intending to prove himself to his father. But when breakfast starts terribly wrong, Krys runs away and meets a group of adolescents from the slum area near their new apartment. Lost and confused, Krys spirals with his new friends as they prove, test and evaluate their own worthiness as well. And this means some gambling, stealing, flirting with girls, servicing matured gay patrons, and experiencing sex and a hint of love.

Boylets casts young actors who are not professional celebrity performers but young men who have gone through similar stages in their lives.

  1. well una ako sa comment…. hehehe! masabi ko lang sa mga gay movie na napanood ko pinakamaganda na ang “lihim ni antonio” although may sex pero d lang naman dun tumakbo ung istorya. nauso na lang kc ito kc may market sya ngayon. sana may film naman about gays o lesbian na d gaano nag fo-focus sa sex kundi isalarawan pa o bigyan buhay pa ang isang gay film na hindi lang makahatak ng gay audience kundi sa pangkahalatan ng mga manunuod.

  4. i can see quite a potential with this film, specially with the poor guy and rich guy scenario BUT, again, it has to be incorporated with prostitution, theft and slum life. can we just focus on what could’ve been a cute coming-of-age love story? i’ll still watch it though. BEH! :p hehe

  14. bakit mga kabataan ang ginagamit sa mga movie na ganito. ano nalang magiging kinabukasan ng bansang pilipinas kung magiging ganito ang society natin.
    hindi ba natin naiintindihan na ang mga kabataan na katulad nila ang pag asa ng ating bayan. napakadumi na tlga ang ating lipunan
    kaya nga bumagsak ang amerika dahil nakalimut sila sa moralitad. sana lang po hindi tau magaya sa kanila.
    sana gumawa tau ng mga palabas na magpapaintindi sa atin kung bakit tau mga kayumanggi at tinawag na lahing maharlika “The noble Creations” upang malaman natin kung saan tau nanggaling at matutungo.
