Due to insistent public demand, here are two more photos (click for high res, large version) of the sexy “Tutok” star, Raymond Cabral. Enjoy!
The promo folks of “Butas” sent these really high-res photos of the movie’s burlesk king, Marco Morales. Enjoy dudes! (Click on the pics to download high-res version.)
Don’t forget — “Butas” on its regular run in cinemas starting January 28.
When I watched Joel Lamangan’s premiere showing of “Walang Kawala” at UP Film Institute last week, there was a film trailer that was shown prior to the main feature. It was entitled “Dose.” I’d say it’s the most disturbing film trailer I’ve ever seen in my life. Here’s why — an excerpt on a feature article on the movie Dose.
One of the much-awaited entries in the forthcoming Cinema One Originals digital film fest is Dose, which promises to stir a lot of controversies. This movie marks Senedy Que’s directorial film debut after being a screenplay writer of several films, the latest of which is I.T.A.L.Y. (I Trust and Love You).
“Ang pinaka-theme naman ng movie, tipong love knows no gender,” sabi pa ni Senedy Que.
Full frontal nudity among Pinoy actors was taboo in the past. Now it seems de rigueur in adult movies. There was Harold Montano in Dante Mendoza’s Urian-winning “Tirador.” Then, Coco Martin and Kristofer King in the controversial Cannes entry “Serbis,” also directed by Mendoza.
Now, Marco Morales lets it all hang out in Joel Lamangan’s “Walang Kawala,” not just once, but twice! Although the two scenes made it to the Director’s Cut, which will be screened at the censorship-free UP Film Center tomorrow, it’s highly unlikely they would be shown in the commercial run that starts Nov. 12. Pinoy Fear Factor Cutie Pie Jose Sarasola is a subject of a video scandal going around the net. I don’t think it’s him — it’s almost obvious — but still, you be the judge. (Screencaps after the jump.) Methinks it’s a marketing tactic for the show, hehehe!
Another scandal floating around the net is that of Cosmo bachelor Dave Rebolledo. This one seems pretty real. Undeniably him. Oh well. Spice of life.
Thai teen heartthrob and “Love of Siam” star Mario Maurer was recently declared Best Actor in Cinemanila 2008’s South East Asia (SEA) Film Competition. The Love of Siam (Thai: Rak haeng Sayam) is a 2007 Thai romantic-drama film, written and directed by Chookiat Sakveerakul. A multi-layered family drama, a controversial element of the story is a gay romance between two teenage boys. Mario Maurer leads the cast as a teenage boy entangled in family, romantic, and social issues.
Here are pretty photos of the teener soon to be 20 years old this December. Yum-yum Tom Yum!
In that much celebrated coming-out scene in a Pinoy Big Brother Celebrity Edition episode, Rustom said “I have no choice, I am gay… but hindi ako masamang tao…” He knew of his sexual preference even when he was young, manifesting it by playfully wearing girl’s clothes which his father saw one time and which angered him of course. His mom, Eva Cariño, berated him as well, it was said.
Then, cut to…
During this year’s Urian Awards, where he presented the Best Actor Award, Rustom with nary a care for what other people might say, proudly displays his real self, the girl within. You go, gurl! Hehehe!
Here’s a PR from UP Film Institute — for those who want to catch two gay-themed indie films — Daybreak and Imoral.
