My Phone – T22 Duo – Dual Active SIM

Gadgets 8 comments

I’m an impulsive buyer, I admit it. Take this for example: I was meaning to buy one of those UMPCs (Ultra-Mobile PCs, those super cheap laptops), justifying to myself that it’s sub-20k (read: dirt cheap for a laptop), and very handy, very mobile, so I can blog anywhere I want. I shopped around, canvassed, and went home with a MacBook. Hahaha!

Then this other example: I was waiting for a friend at Festival SuperMall one day when I chanced upon this shiny new black cellphone: My Phone T22 Duo. The attraction was about it being Dual SIM — both active at the same time! I thought, it’s a great buy (less than 10k), and I can have 2 SIM cards active at the same time without lugging around 2 separate cellphones. In short, I bought one and I’m using it right this moment.

How do I find it? Is it a worthy buy? Do I recommend you gay gadgeteers to follow my example? (Haha!) Read on.

Some hearts just don’t know how to quit.

Love and Dating, Migs Speaks 7 comments

It was past midnight.

My cellphone beeped, a new message from an unfamiliar number. It started with, “Hi Migs.”

* * *

Later I realized that same number called me several times that day. Whenever I answered, it was just silence from the other line. Either a shy stalker, or a prank caller, I thought. I was pretty busy throughout that day and did not want to get upset so I just let it be. Each time the number rang, I would very politely answer, “Hello?” Each time I did, there was nothing on the other end but silence.

* * *

Past midnight, as the moon broke out of the sorry clouds, the caller likewise revealed himself.

Agent Boytoy – the conclusion

Migs Speaks, Personalities 66 comments

[This is the conclusion of the previous posts entitled Agent Boytoy, The Rendezvous with Agent Boytoy, and Going Intimate with Agent Boytoy.]

Inside my heavily-tinted car, the blackness that enveloped us only intensified the fiery feelings inside me. At long last, Agent Boytoy was not just an internet phantom, a celebrity blogger… he’s real and in front of me, in the flesh. He was not just an arm’s length away… he was literally just an erection’s length away!

Ms. Venezuela, ang baklang querida

Love and Dating 39 comments

missvenezuela.jpg Hello Migs,

How are you? I’ve been religiously viewing your site everyday for one good reason – I just love shirtless, nude and sexy Filipino men. I am Ms. Venezuela, a well-known badminton player here in the country. I am exceptional as to height (at 6′2″), beauty and elegance, hahaha! Yes, I am girly looking (looong hair) and an eye-catcher. I am writing you now because I want to share my love experience which is also an exceptional one, i guess!

I had this relationship with a married guy for thirteen (13) long years. We separated just recently, just a couple of days ago. We had an almost complete kind of relationship except from the fact that we don’t live together under one roof. The guy is a family man and married for almost thirteen years also. I thought our relationship would never end, we have been the best of friends in everything. I can go out with other guys but of course cannot go to bed with them. He agreed to that kind of set-up since I accepted the reality that he’s already married. Yun na lang ang consolation prize ko.

Naked Truth About Janvier’s Pic

Hunks, Issues 89 comments

janvier-daily1.jpg

I am breaking my silence about this issue now, and I hope people understand why I had to do it this late. I’ve known Janvier for some time now and yes, we’ve sort of become friends. Imagine then when several weeks back I received an anonymous email with an attachment: a nude, sleeping Janvier Daily.

Love, Respect, and Dignity

Love and Dating 36 comments

Here is a letter from Marc, an MGG reader, that tackles the classic predicament of straight-gay relationship. It’s true — when you are the one in the situation, it is much harder to see things objectively. We may always advocate that straight-gay relationships go nowhere, that it will never last especially without the money angle, etc. But who are we to stop any gay guy from falling in love? So I say, go and love whoever you want to love. My only suggestion is that in the course of loving, may each of us find more respect and dignity in our own person — but if the opposite happens then it’s time for some rethinking.

Hi Migs,

I encountered your blog a couple of weeks ago and I must say that this has inspired me and consoled me through the difficulties I have been facing lately.

I am a straight acting gay. Nobody knows about this except my two straight guy friends whom I have known from different/separate stages of my life. I have no plans of coming out as I am not yet comfortable with my situation (cliche’: I am a man who happens to love another man and I do not wish or intend to be a woman). I envy those who are brave enough to show their real persons but I beg your your respect and understanding regarding my situation and your non-judgmental way of looking at my problem, as it goes:

Writer-Bloggers

Events, Personalities 5 comments

They are writers who at one point decided to join the blogging bandwagon. I like reading them because they are really good at what they are doing — writing. Some of their recent posts are notable:

carver150.jpg 1. Carlo Vergara, creator of our favorite parlorista superheroine Zsazsa Zaturnnah, tells us that the first half of “Zaturnnah: In Manila” (the most awaited sequel) has gone out for script editing. I’m excited! Soon we shall see the full sequel, and yes I’ll be one of the first to grab a copy. And another update, good news to Cebuanos! The Zaturnnah musical (Ze Tour Nah!) may find itself in Cebu this November. Bongga!

junlana-s.jpg 2. Jun Lana relates how he struggled to bring his dream project “Roxxxanne” into reality. It’s his dream film about texting, cellphones, and OF COURSE, homosexuality. Come October 10, however, incidentally his birthday too, it will have its premiere showing at the UP Film Center. Jun emailed me last night saying that he is sending me 20 tickets to the premiere, reserved for MGG readers. Bait di ba?! I still don’t know the mechanics of how to distribute those tickets — let me think about that and let you know once the tickets are in my hands na. Watch out for it!

gibbs_moscow.jpg 3. Gibbs Cadiz, writer and desk editor of the Lifestyle section of the Phil. Daily Inquirer, champion and promoter of Philippine theater, a good friend and podcasting partner (The Troikasters, with McVie), is celebrating his 37th birthday today. Happy birthday, Gibbs!

Sylvester Ram Sagad, next Superbod?

Hunks 51 comments

Will Sylvester “Ram” Sagad win this year’s Century Superbod title? For my bet, I’m actually choosing between him and Alizon Andres — and yes, either one of them over Vince Canizares. While I’m deciding, let me share with you some photos…
