Searching for Bruce Quebral?

Hunks 17 comments

A deluge of searches for ‘Bruce Quebral’ have been logged in this blog these past days — seems a considerable number of netizens have been searching for this guy… Hmmm… what could be causing this? Any curious news about Bruce lately?

* * *

Here’s an excerpt from his interview with Cosmo:

What do you think makes you hot?
I don’t know, maybe my skin tone, because compared to other men whose skin is fairer, my skin tone is like that of a mulatto, ‘di ba? This is what makes me unique, in my opinion.

Ian Leonel Porlayagan

Hunks 22 comments

Early this month I attended the Mr. International Philippines Finals Night in Makati City, upon the gracious invitation of Mike Lee, head organizer of the pageant. That night I was with my Canon SLR camera and a big stout zoom lens, just clicking away on what I thought was beautiful. Frankly not everyone on stage was click-worthy, but I found one guy particularly handsome. His name is Ian Leonel Porlayagan.

Ian was last year’s winner, unfortunately the organizers then (not Mike Lee) were not able to send him to Mexico where the international pageant was held. This year, with new organizers, he tried out again, hoping to be the country’s representative to Taiwan where the international pageant will be in November 2008. Sadly, he did not even make it to the top 3 slots. That’s heart wrenching. Typical Gulong ng Palad story.

When I was reviewing the photos I took, and I took a lot with Ian in it, I noticed a certain sadness in his eyes even while the contest was going on. Made me think, did Ian know deep inside that while he was the title-holder last year, this year it wouldn’t be him?

The Natural Filipino Man’s Beauty

Cute Boys, Hunks 23 comments

How can one define the Filipino man’s natural beauty?

To answer this question is quite tricky. Attempting to answer it would mean going against the oft-repeated adage, “Beauty is in the eyes of the beholder.”

But I’ll answer it anyway! Hahaha!

A beautiful Pinoy man is… clean – mabango – mukhang maginoo pero medyo bastos – able to woo you with his suave moves but equally capable of wild, fiery action when called for (especially in bed!) – a tinge of angas – makinis without being photoshop porselana – confidence from capabilities and not from other externalities – … and maybe you can add more?

Contemporary Pederasty

Issues 27 comments

“Good morning sir, ma’am! Good morning Sir!” shouted the fastfood guy, attempting to greet each and every one entering the restaurant. It was Sunday and the crowd was thick and, not unlike the crew, noisy.

I was at one of the busier McDonald’s branches in Quezon City, with friends waiting for some other friends, when I saw a young cute guy, must be in his late teens, queuing up at the food counter. He’s got a pretty face partly obscured by his baseball cap which matched quite well with his sporty shirt, walking shorts, and immaculately white sneakers. He saw me looking at him, and his gaze stayed on for more seconds than necessary. He let go of the stare only after the girl in the counter called his attention, perhaps clarifying something on the food he was ordering. He was really cute. Yummy by any standards. He was not alone though. Towering behind him, obviously a companion, was a balding man with a bouncing belly, perhaps in his 50s, his right hand on the boy’s left shoulder.

Imoral

Movies and Music 23 comments

This movie seems interesting… but how will it be different from other gay-slanted ‘threesome’ movies — Pusong Mamon, Sikil, Troika, and Ang Lalake Sa Parola? Let’s watch and see!

* * *

A man…
His wife…
His other man…
A different kind of love triangle…

Paolo Paraiso makes his big screen transition via “Imoral” opposite Katherine Luna and Arnold Reyes with Edgar Allan Guzman. The film is directed by Adolfo Alix, Jr. and from the same team that brought the Indiesine hit “Daybreak” and the 2008 Cinemalaya opening film “Adela.”

A lot of people put a high priority on monogamy in a relationship. However, there are rare instances when the couple agrees to have an open relationship, allowing the participants to take other partners. Written by Gerry Gracio (“Santa-Santita”), “Imoral” tackles the dynamics of the relationship between a husband, his wife and his lover as they all live in one house. Paolo portrays the bisexual taxi driver who divides his time between his lover and his wife, Katherine is a former waitress who is now selling beauty products for a living, and Arnold Reyes plays the engineer and nurturing lover of Paraiso. By living with such an arrangement, the three lovers become the target of the community. Things take a drastic turn when Dante (Paraiso) sees a bag full of money inside his taxi. Now that they have money, will they still decide to stay together or go their separate ways?

I’ve met this guy in person and I can say he’s really very attractive, twink-ish but very attractive — especially with that winsome smile and penetrating eyes! I’ve posted something about him before, but here’s a more recent set of photos. Enjoy Carl Rosadino!

Hi Migs,

Let me start off by saying that I am an avid reader of your blog. Love the photos of men, the articles, the letters and most especially the comments that people give! I have always been an active guy. Mahilig ako sa outdoors, sports activities, adventures at all-around good-natured trippings but I have a guilty pleasure. I go after straight men. Ika nga ng mga ka-tropa ko eto ang “market” ko. Mind you, I don’t go exclusively after straight men. I’ve had very long-term and rewarding relationships with other gay men, pero getting straight men is the spice in my life.

Hatid Sundo, Sundo’t Hatid

Migs Speaks 49 comments

MIRC, one boring weekend.

ASL?

20 m qc.

I hesitated for a while. Bagets. Too young. But what the heck.

You okay with an older guy?

Tito? Kuya? Hehehe. Pic pls.

And the customary photo swap transpired.

Hmmm, I told myself. Cute guy. Tall. Muscular but not bulky. Most of all, a moreno pretty face. Alluring smile. May potential.

I was aggressive. Wanna meet?

He showered me with questions. When? Where? What do you want to do? Then it came down to, QC ako eh. Malayo.

I brushed his issue aside, may kotse ako. I can pick you up in QC.

In a few minutes, I was ready to go. Susunduin ko nga ang bata. Hatid Sundo. Sundo’t Hatid, I wished, hahaha!
