On this question — I am aware I’m very biased. I’m good friends with all my ex’s. From what I hear among my friends, this is not the case for many. This is, in summary, what our model-reader friend here is asking in his letter. Read on and share your thoughts. (I’ll keep quiet this time, as my answer’s quite obvious.)

Dear Migs,

Im 23, around 5’7. I just recently broke up with my boyfriend of 4 months.
the thing is, I have been single for 4 years before I met him.
yep, 4 years. yes, I would go on dates, i have M.U’s.
suffice to say, in that 4 years, there were a lot of people I dated and there were a couple who almost made me commit. but i never did. because i never commit half baked.

I’m a part time model, during one taping for a tv series, I met this other model, relatively younger than me. I’m 23, he was 20.

I thought we were just going to be friends, he will be handled by star magic soon (at that time he was with viva) so i never thought that he would be into guys.

Greetings, Sir Migs!

My (false) name is Luke, 18 y/o, and currently in college. The main reason why I wrote to you is that I’m given my present situation, I think I need a gay peer (or buddy, or friend, or call it whatever).

One important thing you should know about me is that I’m deep in the closet. All of the people I know see me as someone indifferent to matters of social relationships, and hence the toughened exterior impervious to suspicions of homosexuality. No one thinks (or so it seems) that I’m holding something back. I’m the master of disguise. The sad part is, the show’s wearing me off.

Hi Migs,

Good day!

I am writing to you para maliwanagan ako sa lahat ng nangyari sakin. My name is Yours (a loan word from my true name so basically not really my real name, just sounded like my nickname. Actually there is a unique spelling of that nickname but to protect my privacy i just loaned the word as well as the spelling), 20 from Cebu. To be honest, I am bothered right now kung sino ba talaga ako lalo pa’t parang nagkagusto na ako sa kapwa ko lalaki na ang pangalan ay Emman (not his true name).

hi migs!

i am an avid reader of your blog. the best kasi. ain’t no other like it.
ok, now the papuri is over i’ll deck the cards.

i’m bi. and i live in cotabato city. im muslim. im 19. out of school youth.
the reason i wrote to you is nahihirapan akong humanap ng kaibigan na tulad ko na bi.
daming mga tao diyan sa tabi-tabi pero they like sex lang.
gusto ko ng sensitive at tulad ko rin na bi.
i don’t like yung sex lang hanap nila kasi after nun wala na.
gusto ko ng kaibigan.
pwede rin karelasyon pero i’m not ready.
gwapo naman ako kaya daming mga nagpaparamadam pero they’re gay na as in bebe gandanghari gay. yoko nun. hehe.

anyway, nakaexperience na ako ng m2m sex but i never had those butt fucking thingie.
masakit kasi yun, naka-try na ako though.

so, i’m asking sana you could help me find people like me here sa cotabato city.

i’m a very discreet bi pala. have i mentioned it na ba?

anyway, help me, migs!

To all those who are looking for FRIENDS, try out the MGG For Friends site. It’s a private networking site (like an exclusive/private Friendster site just for MGG frineds). Send me an email if you wanna join, and I’ll send you an invite.

Are you SINCERELY looking for friends among us, I mean PLUs (People Like Us)? If you’re looking for a friend, not a fuck, then maybe you can try out this new experiment of mine: an ultra-private social networking site exclusively for MGG readers. No one can see or browse it unless you are a member. And for now, the membership is by invitation. To be invited, see the instructions at the bottom of this post. Meanwhile, here’s an email from an MGG reader who inspired me to create this ultra-private social networking site.
