M2M Versus: Paolo Rivero and Paolo Serrano

Hunks, Love and Dating, Movies and Music 22 comments

m2m_paolo6

A gay friend gave me a gift today. (Thanks Madam!) It was the DVD featuring Paolo Rivero and Paolo Serrano, entitled “M2M 3: Versus.” It says on the back cover of the DVD jacket:

Versus is a tale of two male hunks undergoing the different stages of realization and of falling in and out of love. Their story reels off in their minds and is carried out in a rather sensual and provocative manner. What actually goes on…? And what are the complexities in the process of carrying out, staying in and moving on from this kind of relationship?

Masterfully crafted as the previous M2M features- this video shows the intricacies and dynamics of male to male relationship.

More photos of the two Paolos after the jump.

The Dave Rebolledo Scandal That Wasn’t

Hunks, Issues, Personalities 117 comments

I just got a call from Jay Javier, well-known photographer and owner of Fotofabrik Studio in Quezon City. Let me just say that I have personally met Jay early this year during Jay Aquitania’s shoot for Roxxxanne. Jay impressed me as a kind, generous, and good-natured person, and therefore I take his word as honest and sincere. He categorically said that it was him who took the Dave Rebolledo photos now in circulation in the blogosphere, showing the model baring the full monty — problem is, Dave was not really in the nude when those photos were taken.

Jay told me how a certain Photoshop expert named Paolo stole the original Dave Rebolledo pics from his office’s computer (Paolo worked in Jay’s office for a time), and “adjusted” the photos to show Dave in the buff. He swears how good this Paolo is in Photoshop that he can do that kind of magic.

To prove to me that he was indeed the photographer of the original, un-Photoshopped photos, he sent the following images that came from the same set. (more…)

JC Tiuseco — Sole Survivor?

Cute Boys, Hunks 40 comments

Heard it from the grapevine. This guy JC Tiuseco is wildly rumored to be the first Philippine Sole Survivor. Paolo Bediones denied this.

JC, 23, is a hunky basketball heartthrob of San Sebastian University. When he was younger, he was very passionate about basketball and dreamed of becoming a professional player. But as he grew older, JC discovered that he has a lot more potential to make it beyond the hardcourt.

Is he really going to be the first Philippine Sole Survivor? We’ll find out eventually.

Cosmopolitan Bachelor Bash 2008

Events, Hunks 36 comments

I love the abundance mindset. Different people understand this term differently, but for me, abundance simply means there’s more than enough for everyone. That to have some doesn’t mean others have to have less. That to enjoy something in generous amounts, others do not necessarily have to suffer poverty. Which leads me to the Cosmopolitan Bachelor Bash held last September 11, 2008. No, I wasn’t there to personally witness the supposedly wild and wet showdown of innumerable hunks — but the following photos are substantial evidence that indeed there are enough Cosmo hunks for all of us to be generously delighted about.

Imoral — how did I find it?

Cute Boys, Movies and Music 12 comments

I was able to watch Imoral. Read the following lines, and not between them.

* * *

Lady SMS’er: How did you find Paolo Paraiso in Imoral?

Migs: Beautiful face, bland acting, sometimes awkward.

Lady SMS’er: Maganda yung film?

Migs: Watching the movie is like being on a choppy phonecall that doesn’t drop. Overall the plot is quite flimsy, the issues tackled not important enough to be even filmed. Di naman siya basura, manipis lang talaga ang istorya. At ang love scenes between Arnold and Paolo? Super awkward sila, ang obvious. No passion at all.

No, I cannot claim that I’m a good film critic. Consider me just thinking out loud.

But wait, what’s the saving grace of the film? Three words and one beautiful, beautiful man: Edgar Allan Guzman. He just dislodged Enchong Dee as my favorite twinkie.

Imoral

Movies and Music 23 comments

This movie seems interesting… but how will it be different from other gay-slanted ‘threesome’ movies — Pusong Mamon, Sikil, Troika, and Ang Lalake Sa Parola? Let’s watch and see!

* * *

A man…
His wife…
His other man…
A different kind of love triangle…

Paolo Paraiso makes his big screen transition via “Imoral” opposite Katherine Luna and Arnold Reyes with Edgar Allan Guzman. The film is directed by Adolfo Alix, Jr. and from the same team that brought the Indiesine hit “Daybreak” and the 2008 Cinemalaya opening film “Adela.”

A lot of people put a high priority on monogamy in a relationship. However, there are rare instances when the couple agrees to have an open relationship, allowing the participants to take other partners. Written by Gerry Gracio (“Santa-Santita”), “Imoral” tackles the dynamics of the relationship between a husband, his wife and his lover as they all live in one house. Paolo portrays the bisexual taxi driver who divides his time between his lover and his wife, Katherine is a former waitress who is now selling beauty products for a living, and Arnold Reyes plays the engineer and nurturing lover of Paraiso. By living with such an arrangement, the three lovers become the target of the community. Things take a drastic turn when Dante (Paraiso) sees a bag full of money inside his taxi. Now that they have money, will they still decide to stay together or go their separate ways?
