For those who’ve come here wondering why the post “Ang Natatanging Takda” is nowhere to be found, I removed it.

“Ang Natatanging Takda” was a joke circulating through SMS, implying Piolo Pascual is gay. When I received it, it made me laugh and I thought I’d share it here in my blog.

From the comments the post gathered, it seemed a number of folks took offense. Some even implied that I was ridiculing the community. Whoa.

Migs the Manila Gay Guy apologizes to those who found the joke offensive. I sincerely thought it was not offensive. Even till now. But because it was just a joke, and should not be taken too seriously, I don’t mind taking it down.

Let’s move on?

Last Sunday, September 28, the ABS-CBN Star Magic stars gathered around and celebrated the launching of their 2009 Catalogue, containing photographs of their biggest and brightest stars. Of course, Piolo Pascual, Star Magic’s brightest ever male star was there to scintillate the crowd. First it was Gus, the gay man who has a wife who doesn’t know, 2 beautiful daughters, and one gay querida boyfriend…

Then the guy whom I burned phone lines with… the same one who dedicated the song “You Give Me Something.”

Then the other guy (friends with Gus) who I slept with one Friday night, only to find out the following Tuesday that he was married (I saw them together in Baclaran!)

All these happened within a span of just 1 month. Now fate has it for me to be dating Zander, another straight-acting, confused, gay man.

On the one hand, I tell myself, “feeling beauty queen ka ha! Ang haba ng hair!” But thinking about it more, I feel I am just wasting my precious, precious time as a single gay man. But that is not the point I wanted to make.

I have heard several times before about this newbie sitcom actor who apparently looks like Piolo. His name is Joem Bascon, stands 5′9″ and 20 years old. Piolo, Piolo, Piolo… the great Piolo Pascual is the most popular hunk-actor Philippine Showbiz has produced in recent years. And why is he so visibly absent in my hunk photo collection in this blog? We’ll change that with this post. Here we present Piolo Pascual, not in pa-cute poses, and no, not nude either, but rather in an all-shirtless photo collection. A good number of posts in this blog deal with Pinoy celebrities and rumors of them being gay. Not that the topic is a personal favorite, it is really just a reflection of the usual chit-chat topics I have with friends, and even not-so friends. We never run out of this type of chika… Piolo Pascual, Sam Milby, Yul Servo, Erik Santos, Paolo Ballesteros, Eric Quizon, Marvin Agustin… the list is endless! There is even this running joke that there is only one straight guy left in showbiz… he is none other than Aiza Seguerra. LOL! But you know what? It seems this phenomenon is pretty universal.
